Delve into the Subway: Part 1

Sora and Lyric, after leaving Casetlia city, the pair made their way to Nimbasa city on Lyric's request to pay a visit to the Battle Subway.

Sora: Have you been here before?

Lyric: Yeah, from time to time.

Sora: Did you battle in here before?

Lyric: From time to time.

Sora: For deep did you go?

Lyric: Uhhh... I forgot.

Sora: What...?

As the two strolled around, they saw some commotion.

Sora: What's that?

Lyric: Ooh! It's the Subway Bosses!

Sora: Really? What're they doing out here?

Lyric: No idea.

Pretty soon, the crowd died down as the two tall men spot a certain Trap Star.

???: Ah, are my eyes deceiving me, or is that Lyric?!

???: Oh, I think you are right. Lyric! Welcome!

Lyric: Mister Ingo, Mister Emmet!

Sora: You know the Subway Bosses?

Lyric: Yeah, we battled!

Sora: Excuse me, what?

Emmet: And he beat us.

Ingo: Quite badly, may I add.

Lyric: I-It was really a close battle.

Emmet: Don't be so modest. You deserved that victory.

Ingo: So, what brings you back here? Back to battle?

Lyric: Actually, I was hoping you'd help my friend with his training. See, he's in the World Coronation series battle division, and wants to battle a lot of strong trainers to train himself.

Emmet: Ah, I see! We would be happy to let him aboard the Subway.

Lyric: Huh? You're not gonna battle him right away?

Ingo: The rules are the rules, Lyric. To battle the Subway Bosses, you must battle your way through the Subway first.

Lyric: Right, okay.

Emmet: Well then, we'll be waiting for you, young man.

With that, the two twins walk off with their Subway car, as they wait for a challenger to step on.

Lyric: Well, get going!

Sora: Wait, I'm going alone?

Lyric: Yeah. Why?

Sora: Two against one doesn't sound fair. And I'm no good at Double Battles. My Pokémon aren't equipped for them.

Lyric: Really? None of them? Not even the ones in the box?

Sora: No.

Lyric: Well that's a problem. Do you want me to help you then?

Sora: I don't—

He was about to refuse, but then he realized something. He's never seen Lyric battle. Ever.

Sora: On second thought...yeah. I would love your help.

Lyric: Okay! Let me grab some of my Pokémon and swap some moves around.

Sora stood over to the entrance of the Subway, and waited for Lyric to come over a few minutes later.
