Soft Draco Oneshots

Happy birthday! -Draco

You woke up extremely excited for what you were doing today
It was Draco's Birthday and you had planned to make him a cake and decorate your dorm to celebrate his birthday there
He was now turning 18
You knew his parents haven't celebrated his birthday since he was 4 so you really wanted to do something special for him

After decorating you started walking to your first class and saw Draco in the halls
He looked and acted sad but you knew it was because of his birthday
He was never fond of it or celebrated it with anyone

You went up to him and gave him a bug hug and a peck on the lips "Happy Birthday Draco!" You said as you smiled and locked eyes with him "thank you. I can't believe you remembered!" "Why wouldn't I" "well no one seems to care about it and I mean it's fine" he looked down and his eyes got glossy "but...?" You question "well... it's my eighteenth birthday and I..." his voice was breaking "I thought my parents would maybe acknowledge it since I'm turning 18 and I'm technically an adult now..." a single tear slid down his cheek but you quickly wiped it away

"no no, no tears. Today is a happy day" he looked up at you "you're right. You remembering is enough too" he smiled a little then kissed your forehead "you made my day y/n" "you're welcome"

the rest of the day Draco seemed happier but you knew deep down it hurt him that his parents didn't care about his birthday. Nobody but you had told him happy birthday so that made you feel worse for Draco.

After school you took him straight to your dorm. You covered his eyes with your hands before going in and leading him towards a table with his cake and presents. As soon as you uncovered his eyes his face lit up at the sight of the cake you had for him. It was Devil's food cake since it was his all time favorite. He turned around to face you

"is... is this for me?" "Yes of course" he picked you up and spun you around "thank you thank you thank you thank you thank youuuu" once he stopped spinning you he put you down and kissed your lips

"well let's go open your presents!" "I- you got me presents?" "Duh! You're the birthday boy after all" you sat him down and brought out the first box. He carefully opened it and took out a ceramic sculpture of both of you guys hugging. "This is so neat! Thank you love" you giggled as he admired the small sculpture carefully "here's another one" you handed him another box and you could practically see stars in his eyes when he saw what was inside

"NO WAY" he looked up at you "are you serious y/n?" You nodded and laughed at how excited he was when he took out a muggle water gun. "I've always wanted one of these!" You knew Draco could easily drench someone with water with a flick of his wand but for some reason he had always wanted a water gun. "Go fill it up in the sink then come back for another surprise" he went to the bathroom sink and when he came back you sprayed him with your own water gun you had bought

"water fight!" A smug smile took over his face as he started shooting water at you. His father was very strict and thought it was improper of Draco to be doing such an activity specially with a muggle device. Draco laughed uncontrollably as he made sure every inch of you was soaking wet.

You didn't really enjoy getting wet but this was something Draco had wanted for ages and seeing how much fun he was having was enough for you.

He was dripping wet but he didn't seem to mind. After around 20 minutes you finally tired him out and he plopped on your bed still laughing. "That was so fun. Thank you" "it was really really fun and I also liked it Draco" "You made this day so special for me. I don't know if I can ever repay you" "you don't need to. I love you and I loved seeing you have this much fun" He rolled on top of you and kissed you sweetly as a thank you

Yes I'm fully aware his birthday is during the summer but for the sake of this let's pretend his birthday is during school
