I've been writing for around two years and posting for a year already and I never thought my obsession would come this far😭

"I'm ginny Weasley" the red haired girl stretched her hand out to shake yours "I'm y/n y/l/n" you shook her hand and smiled standing next to her in what you believed was the great hall "you'll get sorted into a house first. Hopefully you get griffindor but if not that's ok. There's still nice people in the other houses I'm sure you'll find friends there too" you nodded and looked around at the groups of people. Everyone seemed to have their own cliques which kinda intimidated you. What if you didn't make any friends? What if everyone hated you what if- your thoughts were interrupted by Ginny talking again

"Over there are the Hufflepuffs" you looked to the group of people she pointed at. They all seemed nice and their robes had yellow accents in them "that's the house Cedric Diggory was at" you looked at her puzzled "I'll tell you the story later. Over there are the ravenclaws" you looked over at them. They were more quiet but seemed ok "Luna's in that house. I'll introduce you to hey later. She's real nice and so smart- well most ravenclaws are extremely smart" you smiled "then over there are the Slytherins. The new ones are nice. Most of the other Slytherins left because of the war. They were really mean" you looked at them. They were a smaller group than the rest but not by much

You noticed one of them was by himself "who's that?" You motioned to the platinum blonde "ugh that's Draco Malfoy. He was the worst. His father was a death eater and his mum followed he who must not be named so they were both imprisoned. Mcgonagall insisted for him to stay since he was the smartest in his house and was 'getting better'" "oh" "everyone hates him. Did you know he has the dark mark?" You quietly gasped "really?" "Yeah. He was gonna kill Dumbledore and he almost killed Harry once"

"Im sorry, who?" "Harry. Let me introduce you to him" she lead you to a table where a red haired boy that looked like ginny, a boy with glasses, and a brunette girl sat at "this is Ron, my brother" she said pointing at the red head "that's Hermione" she pointed at the girl. She gave you a smile and a small wave "and that's Harry" she pointed at the boy with glasses. You immediately noticed his scar "Harry as in Harry Potter?" You questioned her "the one and only" Ron said. You had heard people talk about him but never really knew who he was

All 5 of you talked for a while until the new people were called to get sorted "good luck" the group said before you walked over with the other new kids. This was your last year at Hogwarts but you wanted to come for at least one year. Most people around you were first years but there were older kids there too. They called over your name so you went and sat down. The sorting hat was placed on top of your head and a few seconds later it screamed out "Slytherin" everyone clapped so you walked over to the Slytherin table

You didn't know anyone so you sat in front of the Malfoy boy. He looked up at you and put his left arm under the table. For around 20 more minutes people were getting sorted out but in that time around five different people either made faces at Draco, called him names, or threw stuff at him. You wanted to find out why so you stretched out your right hand "y/n y/l/n nice to meet you" he looked down at your hand then up at you

His eyes were a light icy blue. You were able to get a good look at him and noticed he had a couple small scars on his face "I don't think you should do that" he said quietly "you won't get any friends if you talk to me. Go sit somewhere else" he looked back down at his hand and fiddled with his rings "why are you talking to him?" Said a girl a few feet away from you "he'll attack you or something. Come over here" you gave Draco a small smile before walking over to the girl. She was a bit over five and a half feet and had pretty black hair
