Ah yes, it has indeed been a while. Hello mates, I hope you guys are doing good. I'm not dead. Oh, and a happy new year (too late, i know)!

This chapter is regarding me exploring different textures and styles: an experimental analysis.

So I created a scribble of a 'W' with the pen tool and then did some exploring and stuff using that work path. You can see them below.

First W: Playing with whites and gradients.  ◦

◦  Second W: Threads; fine texture. ◦

◦   Third W: Pale; nothing more, nothing less.  ◦

◦ Fourth W: Marblette (a text style i had made, i'll show them in the next chapter), but softened to create a blueish CD effect. ◦

Why I created this chapter? Firstly, because I wanted a record of my progress. Honest remark.

But more importantly, so that you guys explore too. Exploring is way essential than you think it is. Dont stick to just one medium or style. You can have a favourite, of course, but expanding your styles and mediums polish those skills even better. Don't say you wanna be a designer or an artist if you haven't even explored much.

Learn something new, try something new, practice and hone those goddamn skills you have. Thats all for today, see you!
