ROSLYN LILY SNAPE was very different from her father severus snape. instead of seeming threatening, closed off, mysterious, she was actually outgoing, spontaneous. she was also funny and caring which came to a shock to most people.

it wasn't a secret that snape had a daughter but no one knew much about her. she was just known as 'snapes daughter'. she didn't have a mother seeing as, as soon as she was born snape took her away considering her mother was a muggle.

while severus snape was at hogwarts for the next 11 years, she stayed with the malfoys though she hated them. she thought lucius malfoy was a coward and draco was a spoilt brat however she didn't mind narcissa malfoy however she didn't like how she just stayed quiet and let the men make all the rules.

for a long time, the malfoys and severus thought that she wasn't going to be in slytherin considering she was almost the opposite of what slytherins were but they all also learned that she had 'qualities' of the slytherin such as loyalty, cleverness, determination, she could be a good leader and at some points she could be ambitious and cunning. however she never showed it.

she hated coming out of her room away from reading, she hated the malfoys and their cold mannor and that was one of the reasons she couldn't wait for hogwarts.

her relationship with her father was strange. they weren't typical 'father and daughter' as expected but they weren't completely cold blooded to each other but they were never the loving sort.

roslyn heard alot about the harry potter and wondered if he'd be coming to hogwarts. she wanted to meet him, she wanted to meet the one who survived voldemort, she wanted to see if he was okay and how he's been all these years.

little did she know what these next 7 years would bring her.
