the first class was one roslyn was not wanting to do. divination class, she only did it because hermione, harry and ron all decided to take it and even though she wasn't particularly interested in it, she'd rather that then sit in another class either by a load of stuck up slytherins or people who didn't like her.
she had heard that the teacher was a nutcase, very dramatic and quite passionate on the work she did. though that could be a pretty good quality.
once she got there, she sat on a table with her friend piper, being on the table beside harry and ron, her basically being next to harry as she pulled her chair far back.
she immediately got what everyone was talking about.
"welcome my children" the women said. she had thick lensed round glasses and big bushy hair and quite a weird looking dress "in this room, you shall explore the noble art of divination. in this room, you shall discover if you possess the sight." the teacher bumped into a table, a chunk of the room quietly snickering.
"hello. I am professor trelawney. together we shall cast ourselves into the future!" the teacher said and roslyn looked at piper who had the same expression as her, completely weirded out.
"I am dropping out" piper whispered over the table "shes bonkers"
roslyn raised her eyebrows and said nothing, looking back at the teacher and paying attention to what she had to say, even if it sounded mental "so please, take the cup of the person sitting opposite you."
