roslyn looked a lot different to what she did when she left before summer. she had finally grown a sense of fashion, she was slightly taller although she was never really a tall girl - has always been under average heights, her hair had become darker and she styled it more and she had learn to do and wear make up.
however her personality only grew. she still had a sarcastic tone, she still loves to read however she had become more mature both in body and in mind. she realized that this year, considering they were now teenagers, would be different. they'd all have more distinct personalities and qualities and more importantly, they would grow more independence.
she had also gotten a black cat (with green eyes), as gift from narcissa malfoy at the beginning of summer. roslyn didn't have a pet until then and if she was being honest, she was quite greatful for it. the cat was female and was already quite intelligent and definitely could survive by herself for a while. that's why she found the name nyx fitting for her.
roslyns father, severus snape, had yet again decided to leave to go to hogwarts early. at this point, hogwarts was not just her home but his. so because of that, she decided to book a room at the leaky cauldron considering she was old enough now and would prefer not to spend her last day with the malfoys, particularly lucius and draco.
