Hot chocolate, the delicious aroma fills my nostrils, making me sigh. I take a cautious sip of the hot beverage, the delightful taste makes me moan in pleasure as I continue to stare out my foggy bedroom window.
I took a week off of work, luckily Mary the new employee is there to assist Mr.Chan while I'm away. It feels weird being out of the bakery for so long, but I'll have to get used to it I guess. A lot of crazy shit has been happening to me lately.
Ever since he entered my peaceful life everything turned to chaos.
I stare down at the boy, sleeping peacefully in my bed covered in warm knitted blankets, while soft snores leave his parted lips. His delicate features look even softer than when he's awake and full of distress, now he looks like a daisy.
I tried waking him up hours ago but he didn't budge and pulled the blanket over his head continuing with his nap. That made me wonder when was the last time he had a good night's sleep. He never told me where he actually came from, he said nothing else after I drove away from the library. He remains a mystery, keeping his thoughts to himself, which I don't think is such a good idea considering our situation.
I still can't process the thought of the actual motherfucking Mafia, wanting our heads.
What did he do to them?...
Where did those guys come from?...
Who the fuck is he anyway?...
All of those questions and many more swirl around my head making me dizzy.
Breathing out a lung full of air, I sit down on the bean bag in my room, intensely watching his every move as he moves around the bed.
I'll get my answers right after he wakes up cause I seriously need to know before I break him in half, for getting me into this mess.
