Clarification: The Future of PRISMa

Hey...it's been a while. Sorry for the long wait but, I believe I disappointed most of y'all who were still dedicated/patient enough to wait for a new chapter of this book. I'll cut the chase and say it right now

PRISMa: Retribution_ is officially Canned.

If you ask me, Retribution_ drained me. It sucked out the enthusiasm and energy I once had for writing and turned me into a cynical procrastinator. Hell, it's probably because of my imposter syndrome and toxic writing strat of "perfect everything on the spot" that it came to be, and sadly it has become attached with this book on my end. My original vision has also faded away as a result, leading to what is essentially a (slightly more) elaborate copy-paste fic I wanted to stay far away from after canning Thus, PRISM fought there. It's just...everything here isn't worth continuing anymore on my end because it turned into something I actively hate working on, which is why, as of February 14, 2022. I'm starting a new project.

This new book is technically another reboot of Retribution_, but this time, with a regained enthusiasm, new ideas, an emphasis on a clear vision and theme, and even commissioned art (from buddies).

This is a new stage, gone will be the days of Retribution_. Soon, it will be time for PRISMa: Ostium_ to enter the stage. And once that happens...well, Retribution will just sit in my profile for people to check out. Another testament to how far I've gone as a writer (and a reminder for myself to avoid overfocusing on the smaller details). I will also republish all of the older chapters that I've unpublished for those who want to revisit them.
