𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧𝐬𝐨n
It was the next morning around 8:00am. I was never awake at this time I would be still asleep but my brother ended up calling me saying that mama has some news to tell us. I looked over to see Malik still knocked out. I lightly shook him awake to let him know I was about to leave.
"Huh" Malik said
"I'm about to go back to my room my mama has something to tell me" I said
"Mhm" Malik said
"I'll see you later" I said
I got up and put my pants back on and grabbed my phone and walked out the room. I closed the door slowly and silently so Malik wouldn't wake up. I headed to the elevator and got in and pushed 1 and then waited until the elavator stopped on the first floor. When it stopped I walked straight down the hall to the room and knocked.
"And where were you?" Zara asked opening the door
"I'm grown" I said
"Mhm" Zara said
Everybody was in the living room sitting on the couch.
"Y'all waiting on me?" I asked
"What it look like?" Tae asked
"Shut up" I said sitting down
"Okay now that all my kids,in laws and niece is here.. I have something to tell you guys" My mama said
"Okay " I said
"You know how I lately I've been out handling business?" My mama asked
"Yeah" Tae said
"Well I was out looking for a job and I got a job nurse!" My mama said smiling
"Wow ma congratulations!" Tae said
"Yeah mama I'm happy for you" Zara said
"When do you start?" I asked
"Well the thing about that is that I'll be working night shift so I'll be sleeping through out the day and working at night" My mama said
"Ma" Tae said
"I know baby but I'll be making good money" My mama said
"Mama we will barley see you though" I said
"I know baby but I have to have money to provide for my family. It was the only slot that was left and I took it. " My mama said
"Okay mama as long as you happy" I said
"I am" My mama said smiling
"When do you start though auntie?" Jada asked
"Tomorrow night" My mama said
"Well you need to get some rest mama" Tae said
"We have to go furniture shopping today" My mama said
