The next morning...

It was going on 6:00am in the morning which meant it was time for to to slip on some clothes and run my sister to school. Malik had ended up spending the night last night cause he was to high and ended up falling asleep. I got up and slipped some pajama pants on and grabbed some socks out my draw and just sat back on the bed until my sister was ready.

A knock hit my door as I was strolling on my phone.

"Come on" Zara said

"You ready for school huh?" I said

"I'm hungry for one" Zara said

"Okay go put your jacket on and I'll be in there" I said

I shook Malik to tell him to tell him I'm leaving .

"Mm?" Malik said

"I'm finna run my sister to school" I said

"Come right back" Malik said

"Boy.." I said grabbing my phone

"And bring some food" Malik said

I walked out my room and walked into the living room to see my sister sitting on the couch.

"You ready?" I said grabbing my keys

"Yes" Zara said

"Okay let's go" I said

I followed Zara out the door and locked the door. I unlocked my car door and got in.

"I should've warmed the car up" I said

"Can we go to Chick-fil-A ? " Zara asked

"Yeah" I said letting the car warm up

"You have plenty time to eat ima let the car warm up" I said

"Okay" Zara said

"You ready?" I asked

"I guess.. I hope my teacher is nice" Zara said

"I'm sure she is" I said

"I hope so. And I hope my friends are in my class too" Zara said

"I hope not.. you really need to focus this year Zara" I said eying her

"I do be focusing" Zara said

"Yeah like last year when you weren't doing good in your math" I said

"That's because math is harddd" Zara said

"That's why you pay attention in class and it wouldn't be so hard now would it?" I asked pulling into Chick-fil-A
