The following morning was a Tuesday. The sun was shining on Claus's eyes through the window. As Claus gained consciousness, you and your mom walked into the room.

"Good morning Claus, how are you feeling?" Your mom asked.

"Good morning, Mrs. (l/n). I am still in an awful amount of pain." Claus replied.

"Don't worry sir. You can stay as long as you want." Your mom smiled. "Oh, I made hot cereal and black tea with some sugar and honey on the side."

"Why thank you!" Claus smiled back.

You brought the food in a rolling cart. You took out a foldable lap desk and placed his tray of food on it.

"Claus, I am sorry for what Andy did to you," You told him. "If only I got there sooner, then you wouldn't be in that much pain."

"There's no need to feel sorry, (Y/N)," Claus responded. "Honestly, it's my fault for letting this get out of hand."

"How come?" You asked.

"I started to tease Andy because that's what I do. He never takes it seriously but he just snapped. I've never seen him act that violent ever in my life." Claus explained.

"I agree with you on that. Andy seemed like a good kid who wouldn't hurt a fly. What did you tease him about?" You intrigued.

⏱: It's stupid now that I say it again. Andy has always been a wuss so I picked on him about that.

(Y/N): But Claus, that's not nice for you to say. He is your best friend after all.

⏱: I know but ever since he's been hanging out with your sister, I feel left out.

(Y/N): So you did this because you're jealous of Epiphany is what you're saying.

⏱: It's not jealousyyy... Okay, it is.

(Y/N): Claus, you can still be friends with him even if he is with Epi.

⏱: I don't think I want to anymore. Andy has grown out of his naïve phase it seems.

(Y/N): If that's the case, then you don't have to feel guilty about it. You know, I have a best friend who I still talk to even after high school. However, I can't blame her if she makes new friends who aren't through the mail.

⏱: (Y/N), don't say that. Great now you're making me sad.

(Y/N): I'm sorry.

⏱: Oh I'm not sad about you. I'm sad that I have been replaced by your sister.

(Y/N): uh...okay?? Look, Epiphany has no ill intentions towards you. If anything, she's trying to date him.

⏱: Oh-wow that makes so much more sense.

(Y/N): It's not rocket science, y'know. The signs were literally right there. *notices his plate still untouched* Oh sorry, do you want me to leave you to eat by yourself.

"Yes please." Claus thanked you as you made your way out the door.

"Let me know if you need anything." You left to go downstairs.

Now it's just Claus and his breakfast that is gradually getting cold. He sighs out of boredom, but what entertained him were the memories he had with Andy. Claus finds himself crying but quickly cleans himself up.

"Get it together, Claus." He told himself. "Stop crying over him?"

⏱: I am hanging in the bedroom at the busiest time of the year
I could stay right here or disappear
And nobody'd even notice at all
I'm injured in a bedroom 'cause my buddy punched me to a pulp
But I'd rather fake a smile than cry awkwardly
Or pretend to check a page on my book
Everything felt fine

When I was half of a pair
And through no fault of mine
There's no other half there

Now I'm just
Claus in a Bedroom
Claus in a Bedroom at a guesthouse
Forget how long its been
I'm just Claus in a Bedroom
Claus in a Bedroom at a guesthouse
No, you can't come in
I'm healing it out 'til it's time to leave
And picking at wounds as I softly grieve
I'm just
Claus who you don't know
Claus flying solo
Claus in a Bedroom by himself
All by himself

I am hiding,
But he's out there
Just ignoring all our history
Memories get erased
And I'll get replaced
With a prettier and interesting girlfriend

And I hear (Y/N)'s mom
Singing along to Bonnie through the door
"Total Eclipse of the Heart!"
And my feelings sink
Cause it makes me think
Now there's no one to make fun of Andy anymore

Now it's just
Claus in a Bedroom
Claus in a Bedroom at a guesthouse
I half regret the insults
Claus in a Bedroom
Claus in a Bedroom at a guesthouse
As I choke back the tears
I'll wait as long as I need
'Til my scars heal
Or I'll just sneak my way out
Or say I'm feeling fine
I'm just Claus
Who you don't know
Claus flyin' solo
Claus in the bedroom by himself

Knock, knock, knock, knock
They're gonna check up on me soon
Knock, knock, knock, knock
Ah hell yeah I finished the food
Knock, knock, knock, knock
It sucks he hurt me like this
Knock, knock, knock, knock
Here in this lonely guest room
Clang, clang, clang, clang
I feel the time running by
Bang, bang, bang, bang
My big mistake was starting it
Munch Munch Munch Munch
I finally ate this cold breakfast.
And I feel better internally
I go to check up on the time
But not an hour has even passed
At all

And I can't help but yearn
For a different time
And then I feel the cracks on my face
And this really did happen
And there's no denying
I'm just

... at a guesthouse
Is there a sadder sight
Mmmmmmmmm
Claus in a Bedroom at a guesthouse
This is a heinous day
I wish I stayed at home instead
Dressed up as a cat
Or wish I got my doctorate
Wish I was never friends with him
I'm just Claus
Who's a teacher
So he must be a loner
Made fun of Andy
Gosh, I'm such a bully
Claus flying solo
Who you think that you know
Claus in the bathroom by himself

All by myself
All by myself

(Song Ends)

Claus, once again, wipes his tears away. He ends up going to sleep for the whole day. You brought him lunch and dinner. He ate them but immediately went to sleep. Hopefully, he will be cured soon. Maybe not tomorrow but soon.

Meanwhile at Andy's house...

Andy woke up late at night but felt immobile. He started to worm his way out but he saw that he was strapped down onto his bed. Margaret was in the room and took notice of him waking up.

"Finally awake?" She asked.

"Margaret! Why am I strapped to my bed?!?"

"It's so that you don't continue attacking Claus, silly," Margaret says sarcastically.

"I'm still not done with Claus."

"And that's why you stay here. Even if you don't have any injuries, you're a danger to society."

"Margaret, let me OUT!!"

"I'm sorry Andy. I'm just following protocol."

"Protocol? What protocol?"

"I've said too much." Margaret leaves Andy's house.

"Don't leave me! Come back! C̷o̸m̷e̴ ̷B̵a̸c̵k̸!̷!̴" Andy shouted.

Margaret left but she isn't going to leave Andy unsupervised. She is going to watch him through the window and make sure he doesn't leave. Even if he skips school. Poor Epiphany, how she will miss Andy for about a week or so.
