Chapter 3

Walking with you in his arms Tony gently placed you on the couch of his lab and brushed some hair from your face. He couldn't help but feel guilty for hitting you after discovering you've been abused for years by hydra. He despised them more than anything but seeing how scared you looked even in your sleep caused him to feel extremely protective of you. "I have to figure this out. If she was with them so long, how is she not completely mentally broken?" He sighed while facing his screen in the lab. He glanced over at the woman lying on his couch.

"Honestly Tony think about it. Shes Probably right at her breaking point and what happened was her last-ditch effort to escape." Bruce said walking over to her and taking some blood. He let out a sigh and moved over to his set of computers and began running tests "I will say despite her rough shape she's powerful. You said she flinched when you raised your hand?" Tony nodded and continued to type into his computer.

"Yes. Shes likely been tortured for years." his voice sounded pained thinking about everything you went through. A soft groan was heard, and Tony quickly turned to you and rushed to your side. Kneeling down to you as your eyes opened, he let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding in.

"God my head" you whispered moving your hand to hold your forehead. Tony slowly reached for you. He didn't want to scare you further. When his hand made contact to your arm you flinched throwing both hands up to protect your face.

"Whoa there. I'm not going to hurt you." he said softly. Slowly you moved your hands and looked over to Tony, fear evident in your eyes. He felt himself melt at the E/C of your eyes, but he quickly pushed it aside.

"I'm... sorry if i hurt you sir." your voice was extremely soft. Without thinking Tony placed his hand on your cheek.

"Call me Tony. You're safe now." His heart picking up speed as a warmth spread through him at the contact.

Without thinking you sighed and leaned into his hand closing your eyes. You haven't had kind contact with anyone in such a long time your body truly craved it. Bruce watched the two of you while taking some mental notes. He cleared his throat and walked over to the two of you. When you looked at him you froze. He looked kind and gentle but so did others before they hurt you. Tony did say you were safe though. Tony felt you go stiff and glanced at Bruce who kneeled down next to you as well "I am Bruce. What's your name?" he said barely above a whisper. He was trying to appear smaller than he was to try to calm your nerves. You felt your body relax focusing on Tonys hand.

"I'm Y/N" you said softly. Bruce smiled at you and nodded

"Thats a beautiful name. It's so good to meet you. I'm a doctor and unlike the ones you're use to I'm here to help you." Slowly you moved from Tonys hand and sat up.

"Thank you." you glanced at Tony then at Bruce to see both of them smiling at you. Suddenly the lab door are thrown open and a huge blonde muscular man walks in 

"Stark, I heard we have a new house mate!" His voice boomed across the lab walking towards you guys causing you to nearly jump into Tonys arms. You wrapped your arms around Tonys neck and hid your face. Shaking like a leaf. Tonys arms wrapped around you as he shushed the large man

"Thor enough! Shes extremely nervous of loud noises." Tony nearly growled to the large man.

"Oh." Thor froze mid step. "I'm sorry my Lady. I'm Thor I just wanted to say Hello" he said slowly approaching you. You looked familiar to him but there wasn't any way that was possible. The person he was thinking of died long ago. Glancing from Tonys shoulder you felt yourself begin to relax. The man's eyes were so gentle. Slowly you unwrapped your arms from Tonys neck.

"You okay now Y/N?" Tony asked slowly removing his arms from you. He was surprised how quickly you were trusting him. You nodded and sat back up Slowly.

"I'm sorry I'm so jumpy." rubbing your hands and looking down you felt embarrassed for seeing so scared but in truth you were. Hydra never gave you kindness Hell people before you were taken never gave you kindness. Slowly you stood up. Tony helped you stand by taking your hand. Thor rushed over to you as you swayed. "I'll be okay. I'm just usually dizzy after my powers come out." Sighing you looked up to see Thor right in front of you.

"About that Y/N How did you do that?" Tony asked helping you steady yourself.

"Well I can't control it. I've had this curse for a while now but i refuse to use it but if i panic and don't think it'll come out on its own" looking to Tony then the others. Just as you let go of Tonys hand your stomach let out a loud growl. Your eyes widened as your hand flew to your stomach. Thor let out a laugh.

"You need food. My brother also gets hungry if he uses to much magic. May I Stark?" Thor held out his hand towards you and you glanced at Tony. He smiled softly at you.

"Of course. Thor will you also show her to the spare room? Its hers now" He placed his hand on the small of your back and slightly nudged you towards Thor. You looked at Tony surprised "Don't be surprised Y/N that doctor you spoke to before you attacked told us what you said. We are going to keep you safe with us. Now you go eat and get comfortable. I'll be up in a bit" Thor took your hand and placed it on his arm and began to lead you out of the lab. Glancing behind you, You watched Him and Bruce smile at you.

"Come my lady let's get you some delicious food. Your far to tiny"
