When we had finally reached the second address that Dumbledore had given me,

"This is Budleigh Barberton village, right?" I asked Harry, looking down at him, he nodded, and I handed him the paper Dumbledore had given me with the two addresses on it,

"And this is the address?" I asked again he nodded and I frowned. "Alright, stay close to me," I said softly

"P-Percy, could it have been..." Harry asked and I shrugged,

"It could've been a number of things, let's not jump to conclusions," We passed through the open front door, it defiantly appeared to be a wizard's battle in here, but something was off. For all the broken and shattered furniture around, there was no human blood. I frowned as I looked at the bright red blood around the room, that was something else entirely, if it was as dry as it looked human blood would be a much darker shade.

"Hey Harry," I said,

"Yes!" Harry asked eager to be helpful

"Stay there for a minute," I said crossing the room and picking up an overturned armchair.

"So, what do you think?" I asked Harry, dusting the seat and sitting down on it,

"Ouch! Get off!" I grinned and got off the armchair,

"Oh! Sorry, I didn't see you there," I grinned get up just in time to see the armchair slowly morph into a man. I snickered I bet Procrustes would like him, the guy easily folded himself into an armchair for Zeus's sake! He could defiantly fit in a bed.

"What do you want?" He grumbled and I smiled. Offering him a hand,

"I'm Percy, and Dumbledore wants you to teach at Hogwarts. Potion position I believe, but I'm not sure,"

"No." he said definitively and I nodded,

"Alright, Harry let's go,"

"What?!" Harry and Horse's voices blending together, honestly, I suspect that I had just misheard Dumbledore because who names their kid Horse? Then Dumbledore's first name is 'Albus' so it's not that bad

"Well, Dumbledore told me to ask, not force you,"

"Oh. Well. Okay. Good day," Horace said and I nodded to him,

"Come on Harry we have a long way to go,"

"Wait! Harry- as in Harry Potter?" Eyes widening, Horace reached, as if to grip Harry's shoulders, peering at his scar. I quickly brushed Harry behind me,

"Yes, he's one of my students attending Pig Pimples,"

"Hogwarts Professor," Harry whispered from behind me,

"Right. Hogwarts,"

"Er- right, so off you go!" Horse said quickly recovering from the shock, I nodded and let him guide us through the house, not that we had gotten very far in.

"It was a pleasure to meet you, Harry, your mother was one of the brightest I ever taught. Vivacious, you know. Charming girl. I used to tell her she ought to have been in my House. Very cheeky answers I used to get back to." Horse said, and I paused looking between Harry and Horse.

"Which was your House?" Harry asked curiosity peeking

"I was Head of Slytherin,"

"Oh! Like Sevy now!" I said, cutting over Harry's disgruntled expression, but Horse ignored me, skipping over to Harry's expression,

"Oh now, don't go holding that against me! You'll be Gryffindor like her, I suppose? Yes, it usually goes in families. Not always though. Ever heard of Sirius Black? You must have- been in the papers for the last couple of years, yes well, he was a big pal of your father's at school. The whole Black family had been in my House, but Sirius ended up in Gryffindor! Shame- he was a talented boy. I got his brother, Regulus, when he came along, but I'd have liked the set."

I gritted my teeth, people aren't collectibles. I placed a hand heavily on Harry's shoulder,

"Yeah, well, you're not a teacher anymore, and I haven't heard one peep about you from Severus Snape, and you were the head of his house at that time. So obviously you weren't too great at your job, can't imagine why Dumbledore would want you back,"

"Let's go, Harry," I said cutting in front of Horse and pushing Harry out of the house.

"I'm truly sorry boy, but I'd like to say that I'm just not brave enough to be a teacher at Hogwarts, I was the Slytherin head, not Gryffindor after all," Both Harry and I winced at the 'boy' but as he continued on, I got more pissed off, I turned around and leveled Riptide at him,

"I will cut out your tongue myself if you say one more degrading thing about Slytherins- am I clear?" I asked and Horse nodded eagerly. I nodded and put riptide away, walking back down the path and dragging Harry behind me,

"Besides, Hogwarts is probably the safest place to be, I mean Percy is the strongest wizard I've ever known and he's not even in the Order!" My anger softened slightly as I blushed,

"Thanks, Harry, but I'm no great wizard. Talk to the ass if you want to use those titles," I muttered.

Apparently, Horse had stopped following us because his voice drifted down the street as he called out,

"Tell Dumbledore I'll be in touch! And I'd like to get to know you better Percy!" I groaned, another headache starting to form- I swear if I have to babysit another one of Dumbledore's pets I was going to quit. For real this year.
