The tensions started to run high again as it got closer and closer to the first Quidditch game. I figured Gryffindor was playing so I wasn't too surprised when Ron slipped into my office just after dinner one night.

I looked over to Blaise who I was fighting at that moment and he nodded, shrinking his sword back into a dagger and pocketing it,

"I'll see you, next time Professor," he muttered, nodding to Ron as he passed. Ron just looked glumly after him and I snorted.

"So- what's up?" I asked leaning back against my desk and started twirling riptide- not bothering to put the cap back on. I was breathing heavily- Blaise was getting really good at the sword, and from what I've heard the bow as well.

"What was he doing here?" Ron asked kicking the ground, still pouting

"Blaise just wanted a match and I'm always game," I said easily and Ron grumbled some more.

"That trick dagger he has is cool- I want one," he muttered and I grinned pushing my rolley chair behind him, he muttered a quick 'thank you' before settling down.

"So. What's up Ron?" I asked setting down crisscrossed on the desk in front of him.

"Hermione snogged Krum," Ron muttered and I looked at him confused,

"-er, okay?"

"And I don't like seeing Ginny off snogging every boy in the castle, she reckons it's because I've never snogged anyone before,"

Again, I just sat there staring, dam, what was I supposed to do with this?

"If we don't win the match, I'm resigning off the team."

"Umm, why?" I asked- finally! A coherent question!

"Because I'm rubbish! Everyone knows it too! I wouldn't have gotten on that team if Harry wasn't the captain!" Ron exclaimed finally looking up at me and I just gave him a strange look,

"I don't really know about skill- I can't watch Quidditch, the stands are too high for me, but I can tell you that there is no way Minerva would allow you to stay on that team if you weren't good enough. She values the Gryffindor win way too much," I reasoned and Ron perked up slightly

"You think so?" he asked and I nodded,

"I mean, think about it- she pays very close attention to who's on the team and who's not. I think that with my very limited knowledge of the subject you'll do fine," I said, before uncapping Riptide and raising it slightly,

"Fancy a quick fight?" I asked and Ron grinned, rushing to grab one off the wall.

I wandered down the halls, it was Quidditch day and everyone was over at the field. The castle was almost disturbingly quiet, so when I heard a noise I headed towards it, sword in hand. I tensed as I saw a shadow slip into a room, the door already starting to close.

Hurrying to catch it, I slipped inside, just as it closed. I gasped as I looked around, there were mountains of... well- stuff. Nik-nacs of every size and shape.

"It's the Room of Requirement," A voice called and I spun towards it, riptide still out.

Draco raised his hands, and I drew reptide away from him.

"Katie Bell." I said sternly as I looked over at him, "Don't do it again. Not to another student." Draco hesitated but nodded, slumping down,

"Alright." He agreed and my gaze softened and I let myself look around again,

"This place is brilliant!" I said and Draco snorted,

"You're really starting to lose your American accent," He commented and I rolled my eyes,
