I looked up as Sevy burst into my office muttering about problem children and slamming some Firewhiskey onto my desk,

"This week has been the absolute worst! Between Draco, Blaise, Potter, Granger, and Smith the issues completely overwhelmed the fact that it was my first week as DADA professor!" He wined throwing himself onto the bed.

I rolled my eyes at his dramatics and flopped down next to him, bringing the bottle with me.

"At least you're finally teaching what you love," I offered, smiling when I saw his lips twitch

"That's true," he amended sticking out his hand for the bottle which I passed over.

I frowned as I stared up at the ceiling, "I wish so many people weren't caught up in this stupid war," Sevy glanced over at me before handing the bottle back. I took a swig

"The war is won by the many," he muttered, and I snorted,

"Many dead, maybe," I grumbled, and shoved the bottle back at Sevy, "I just want these kids to be safe- ya know? We have camp, but they don't have anywhere,"

Sevy looked over at me, surprised,

"Is that why you declared yourself neutral?" He asked and I nodded,

"Chiron's job sucks," I said taking the bottle back, "I can't do anything," It was Sevy's turn to snort and take the bottle back,

"I always just assumed you were tired of fighting," I admitted and I shrugged,

"I am- but these kids deserve more than Dumbledore will ever give them," I said, "Harry's even with him right now, and Dumbledore is probably grooming him for something no one else would ever approve but," I held my hands up, shaking them slightly in exasperation, "'It's Dumbledore'," I put my hands down dropped my voice to a mutter, "Honestly he's worse than drama queen,"

We fell into a small silence, just passing the bottle back and forth, and staring up at the ceiling.

"I played both sides. For Lilly. I knew that she would never ask me to do such a thing but when Dumbledore point out that I could protect her better that way..." Sevy drifted off staring down at his arm, the one that I knew the mark lay.

"I don't regret it- but I will never be able to shake the shame," he muttered and I nodded quietly,

"What was she like?" I asked softly and a sad smile spread across his face,

"Sweet, kind, brave, and always there when I needed her the most," He stilled for a moment before shaking his head, "Until she wasn't. I- I called her a 'mudblood' and that was it for us," I frowned and passed him the bottle,

"I miss her," he admitted and I nudged his shoulder sympathetically.

"Do you think this war is worth it?" He asked, turning to me. But I couldn't give him the answer he wanted, shaking my head I looked back up at the ceiling,

"War is never worth it- but when it comes to saving the world- the pressure is heavier than the sky." I said, causing Sevy's gaze to flicker to my silver strand before nodding,

"You would know," He muttered and I smiled sadly,

"I'm not convinced Harry is trying to save the world," I said and Sevy jerked- shocked,

"What do you mean?" He asked and I shrugged

"I mean, I think he's just trying to survive and protect what he's found. Dumbledore is the one throwing event after event at him, he's just struggling to stay on his feet,"

"I see," Sevy said after a moment, his attention drifting to the now empty bottle that sat in his hands.

I laughed at his expression and sat up slowly, leaning against the headboard,

"So. What do you want to do about Blaise?" I asked shifting the topic and clearing away some of the tense atmosphere.

"He'll need training, of course, I'll take care of the knowledge portion if you can cover some extra classes with swordplay," Sevy said, standing up and going over to my desk, he dug around a bit before finding my schedule and studying it for a second before nodding,

"I'll tell him the time," he said marking it down on my calendar. I rolled my eyes but let him play with my things.

"I'll need to call in an Apollo kid," I said glancing over at Sevy, "Unless you're good with the bow?" I asked and he shook his head,

"I'm not as disastrous as you, but go ahead and call them- I'll inform Dumbledore," Sevy said waving his hand and I grinned, pulling some water droplets together to form a rainbow

"O Fleecy do me a solid, Will Solace, Camp Half-Blood," I announced throwing a Drachma through the rainbow,

"You Greeks," Sevy teased, I rolled my eyes but grinned back

"Oh! Percy!" Will's voice carried through and I turned back still grinning,

"Oi! My Eyes! Gods! Clothes, please! I did NOT need to see that Neeks," I shrieked quickly turning my back to the rainbow. Sevy raised his eyebrows at me and I hissed at him, knocking the back of his head-turning it away from the image

"All clear," Will's voice called and I turned around cautiously, sighing in relief as I saw them- clothed this time.

"Anyways!" I said flat out ignoring Nico's glare, "Sevy and I found a Demigod here, Eros, and I'm no good with the bow- I was wondering if you could spare one of your siblings? I would ask Frank but running the Roman camp, he has his hands full," Will was already nodding before I finished,

"Sure! Neeks and I can head over there- it might be a while because he overdid it with the shadow travel again, but if we take it slow we'll be able to do it," Will agreed and I beamed,

"Sounds great! Thanks a bunch, Will, Nico!"

"Nico? As in the 'Ghost King'?" Sevy asked stepping forward, Neeks raised his eyebrows,

"Yes? And who are you?" Nico asked, but Sevy ignored him, turning towards me,

"He can not come here," He drawled and I looked at him incredulously,

"Why not?" Ii asked, my questioning tone ringing together with Nico's indignant one,

"Percy." Sevy said as if explaining a very simple concept to a first-year, "There are ghosts everywhere at Hogwarts,"

"So?" I asked still not getting it- so what if there were ghosts? Well- whatever that means Nico seemed to get. He sighed,

"Will and I can stay in the forest, it'll probably be better if we didn't show up to the castle anyway," He conceded before narrowing his eyes at Sevy, "So. How do you know me?"

Sevy flicked his gaze to me before raising an eyebrow at Nico,

"Percy told me," He said crossing his arms, "And before that, I was at Camp Jupiter. It's not like the son of Hades is a big secret- de Anglo

Nico paused before tilting his head,

"I've never heard of you," he said simply fixing his gaze on me, "I wonder why,"

I glanced over to Will, baffled, "I- um,"

"Alright!" Will cut in, "So we'll be there sometime before Christmas break," he said sliding an arm around Nico before cutting through the rainbow.

I shrugged and grinned at Sevy, "Well that's settled then!"
