The Basement

A/n:
Y'all I am so sorry for not updating in soooo long I just had a lot going on but I'm back baby!

Y/n POV:
11:34 PM
We start walking down to the basement. Sam, Colby and Josh were in front of me and Seth was behind me. When we get down the stairs. Sam turned on the light and panned the camera around the fair sized basent.

Everything was organized, dusty, untouched for a while. "Woaaa" said Colby as he brushed his hand along shelf and found an old slinky as well as a pair of dice. "It's the worst down here right?" Asked Sam. "Yup, this is where Will first did the Ouija board".

Seth put his arm around my shoulders after Sam pointed the camera away. I looked at Seth confused but he just smiled at me and we started looking around the basement. Sam put the camera in a shelf after we finished looking around.

"Alright brothers and sister." He said in a creepy funny voice. "Let's vote, seance or no seance" Sam continued in a normal voice. "Colby!". "Seance." He voted. "Josh!". "Seance." He also voted. "Seth!". "Seance.". "Y/n!". "No seance" I replied.

"Compromise, we use the Estes Method?" Seth offered. The other guys agreed and so did I. "It's not technically a seance" Josh defended. Colby went and got the spirit box, noise canceling headphones and the blindfold out of Sams bag and we all sat in a circle on the ground.

"Y/n, would you like to do the honours?" Colby asked. "Sure" I replied kind of scarred of what it was like. "It's just gonna sound like extremely loud static" Sam explained. "Here" Seth says as he ties the blindfold around my eyes. 'Kinky' I think and the mentally slap myself from thinking that.

I feel someone put the headphones on me. I couldn't hear anything now except for externally muffled voices and still I could barely hear them. I flinch when someone I assume is Seth brushes up against my back. I sit up and take off the headphones. "What happened?" Colby asked as he noticed me taking off the blindfold and looking behind me.

I saw nothing and looked over to Seth to see both his hands messing with the spirit box. "Something touched my back" I said turning back to them. Sam and Josh looked behind me and saw nothing that could've brushed against me.

The only thing behind me was a wall that was 2-3 feet away so it couldn't have been me leaning against the wall. "Let's just do this quick and go upstairs. "K" I reply still feeling uneasy. "There's something in that corner." I said as I stared at the corner behind Josh.

Everyone looked behind Josh to where I was looking. "I don't see anything, what did you see?" Asked Seth. "I didn't see anything, it's like this...how do I explain, like it was blurred in the shape of a human. In my mind I can see details like hair, clothes, colours but I only physically see a blur" I explained to them.

"What does it look like?" Colby asked seeming interested. "A man, he's wearing this like faded blue grey suit with a dark green tie and wearing a hat but it looks like he has light brown short hair, I can't see his face" I explained. "Let's hurry and get this done this is getting scary" Josh says and everyone agrees.

I put the headphones back on after Seth put on the blindfold. He turned on the spirit box and I jump a bit at the noise. Static. Just pure static nothing else.

"What do you want?"

"Help"

"Help with what?"

"Out of here"

"Bad"

"Man"

"Is a man trapping you here"

"Yes"

"What does he want?"

"Know"

"Nope"

"Can you tell us?"

"No"

"Can you move something in this room for us?"

The boys soon hear and see the slinky that Colby found earlier fall off the shelf. They all stare, jump and start yelling.

"I moved. It"

"Can you tell us your name?"

"You"

"No don't know"

"You don't know your name?"

"No"

"You can't"

"Know"

"We can't know"

"Why can't you tell us?"

Soon the dice fall off the shelf that Colby noticed earlier. They decided to pull Y/n out out of fear and for her own safety.

Y/n POV:
The boys pull me out and explain what happened. We go over to the shelf and look at the dice. The 2/3/4 digits were (your favourite number). "That's my favorite number..." I said. "We're getting out of here" Sam said and grabbed all the stuff and put it back into his bag.

We all went back upstairs and turned to close the door but when we turned it was already closed. We were silent. "Josh you didn't close that." I stated as I remembered he was the last one up and had stuff in his hands like the rest of us and went to set it on the table without closing the door.

"No. That wasn't me" he stated. "It's getting late...why don't we go to sleep now we have a lot of evidence" Colby said rubbing his temple. "Is something wrong?" I asked as I looked at him.

"I just have a headache" he replied. "Yeah let's go to sleep" Sam said worried about his best friend. I showed Sam and Colby to their rooms and Seth and Josh to theirs. They were the two spare rooms to the left and right of my room at the end of the hall.

"Alright I'll see you guys in the morning" Colby said before walking into him and Sams room and closing the door. "Night boys" I said to Josh and Seth and went back to my room.

I got ready for bed, lied down and fell asleep.
