Chapter 10 - 【A Familiar Breeze】

Eren opened his eyes, the last thing he remember was fighting Reiner and Bertholdt who they found out to be traitors.

He noticed he was high up in the trees, together with Ymir who was healing like him and the two traitors that have their own ODM gear not far away from them.

The wind blew softly in his face when he was about to scream at them, noticing a small variable.

If it was a wind, he's sure the three's hairs should have also moved, but it was only his. And this phenomenon occurred multiple time when he was about to do something.

It was like it's telling him to calm down and not act too hastily.

So he did.

And the two are suspicious at his act making them look at each other, taking precautions.

Eren asked questions one at a time and took every answer with no retort, making him even more suspicious for the two.

Sooner or later, a green smoke had erupted from the sky, indicating the incoming scouts to retrieve Eren and at the same time, the wind around him caressed his face softly as if telling him to get ready.

It was like the wind has a voice itself.

At one point, he secretly looked around in hope to see the figure of a redhead, because he was the only one he knows who can do something like this.

It was kind of unexpected when he really saw a shadowy figure looking at him in a small distance. Eren doesn't know if it's really Cale or someone else because the figure was taller than the redhead he knew.

"Heup!"

Eren was hauled and had been tied into ropes before Bertholdt carried him in his back.

He stared at the figure who shushed him by placing their finger into their lips and he nodded. The figure soon followed them not far behind them as the three bickered about getting Christa with them.

"Reiner. Someone is following us."

Being carried in the back, Eren heard him loud and clear as he tensed up before looking at the figure with worried eyes.

"Tsk. Fine! We'll get Christa and capture the person that's following us! There's a high chance that it's Cale Henituse and they ordered us to capture him by any means!"

Eren began to thrash around, to notify the figure that they had been noticed and just to simply rebel to the one who is carrying him.

The figure then disappeared as Eren looked around and after several seconds, they never appeared again.

There was silence, aside from the whirring of two ODM gear and the titans chasing them.

It was like the calm before the storm as they settled into their positions to snatch Christa away too.

Ymir acted as the bait as Eren watched it all unfold with no regards.

Later then, Ymir who was in her titan form ate the blonde as she ran away from Mikasa and the others.

And at the same time, Eren was also snatched away by the cloaked figure as Bertholdt screamed to alarm Reiner.

"Hold on."

The figure said in a soft tone as blue eyes peered on the brunette before slicing the ropes to free him, but Eren knew who the person really is.

"Cale?"

"Don't call me that. My name is Bob."

After that, Eren had placed himself at Bob's back and the latter had bucked his hips as he activated his ODM gear and ran away from them.
