There has been a rumor circling around, people don't know whether it was true or not. To some, mostly the common people, are ecstatic if ever the said rumor is real. But to some, mainly the nobles inside the wall or the Military Police, it was bad news.

Because Cale Henituse, the main topic of the gossips buzzing around, couldn't land in their palms and use him as a tool.

He earned some titles right then and there.

But mostly, he was called the Tactician of Scout Regiment.

With him aiding the soldiers in the battles against the titans, there were fewer deaths as he also gave tips to others that actually saved their lives.

Some say he was a gift given by a God, and some say he is a God himself.

Cale could only scowl as he burned the newspaper using his ancient power, dusting the remnant of ashes as he sipped his tea.

His ancient powers are still not responding to him, and the day where they plan to retake the Wall Maria is coming.

In exact date, it is tomorrow, or in the next five hours if you would say.

Alberu and Choi Han are still unconscious, the doctor saying that they needed rest to completely heal the two. Though it gave Cale anxiety since it might take longer for them to wake up.

Cale couldn't bear to be alone in this world. Even when he made acquaintance with the people living here, he still couldn't.

He misses his family, and he wishes that the two would wake up soon to diminish the loneliness he kept feeling.

Because this was the first time that he admitted he was lonely, even back when he was Kim Rok Soo he never had a fleeting feeling like this.

"Hey apple brat. It's time to sleep."

He looked at Levi who was standing at the doorframe of the room, his arms crossed as he galred at the redhead.

"I'll sleep here."

It's not like Cale didn't want to sleep. He just can't. Looking at the sky out of the window, it would be a few hours after the sun would rise over the wall.

Levi just sighed as he went away, not really convincing the redhead much since he was too stubborn to comply. Cale once again looked at the two sleeping figures of Choi Han and Alberu before deciding to go to his own room.

Going to his own room means he would walk pass by the living room. In the living room was Eren and his classmates fumbling something that elicits sounds similar to a keyboard instrument.

Cale decided to sneak away, but that failed miserably as Mikasa looked at him resulting to the others doing the same too. He cleared his throat awkwardly before walking towards them.

"What are you doing? Aren't you supposed to be asleep?"

Connie and Jean looked away, finding something, anything really, to distract themselves from the piercing gaze of the redhead.

"Marco bought something from the market. It was a newly invented instrument and he wanted to try it out." Eren showed the said instrument to Cale, the redhead immediately recognizing it.

"It's a kalimba." Cale mumbled, making him shut his mouth as he scowled at how he said that out loud.

"Do you want to play?" Armin suddenly asked which made Cale sigh at his loose mouth.

Should he play? But then again, Cale wants to stop his own mind from overthinking too much so he just nodded.

He started tapping it randomly to tune it out. Seeing that it's not in the right pitch, he fixed it before playing a music to make these kids go to sleep even for a short time.
