Will's POV

"So, what're we gonna do?" I ask as I watch Xander's car pull out from the drive way.

"About?" Leo questions.

"The David situation" Vincent says clarifying my question.

"We're still looking, but there's no leads" Ace says.

"Aren't you supposed to be at school?" Leo asks Ace.

"Yea? Just because I'm supposed to be there, doesn't mean I'm gonna go" Ace says taking a seat down on the couch.

"You better go though, the College will start getting suspicious as to why you've been missing so many days" Vincent says.

"Ugh! Fine" Ace exclaims dramatically.

"What if he-"

"Will calm down, we wouldn't let anything happen to Vally. No matter what we'll protect her. I wouldn't allow anything to happen to her, over my dead body" Leo says.

"Don't say sh*t like 'Over my dead body' before you jinx yourself" Ace says grabbing his car keys.

"Im leaving now, bye" Ace says walking out the door.

"I'm gonna get going too. I have clients down at the shop" Leo says leaving as well.

"What do you boys say about spending the day with your old man?" Dad asks me and Vincent.

This kinda shocked me.

Dad is usually never home, and when he is, he's usually just cooped up in his office doing work. If I'm being honest, I miss the old Dad, the one before Mom left. After Mom left us, Dad became a workaholic. I'm not saying that he doesn't love us, I know that he does. He just doesn't show it like he used to.

"Sure" I answer letting a smile make its way onto my face.

"Where?" Vincent asks taking a sip of his coffee.

"Where do you boys want to go? I'll let you guys pick" Dad says fixing his watch on his wrist.

"Will?" Vincent asks me.

"The gym?" I request.

The gym is my favourite place to be, other then the kitchen. The gym is the only place I could take my anger out. Believe it or not, I had serious anger issues. I used to hate everything and everyone.

When Mom left, I realized that I had to grown up. I had to be a better role model for my younger siblings. The one who took Mom leaving the hardest was Xander.

He was definitely a Mamas boy. The more he grew up, the angrier he became from her absence. I think seeing me angry most of the time, he picked up on my negative persona and became just like old me.

One of the things I regret.

"I've been needing to hit the gym for a while now" Dad says taking his tie off.

"Alright then, the gym it is" Vincent says putting his coffee mug down.

"I'll drive" I say.

"No since I'm the oldest, I'll drive" Vincent teases.

He used to do this all the time. Always messing with me.

Me and Vincent were so close when we were younger, but that all changed when Dad started training him to become the next Capo. Now he is colder and doesn't open up as much.
(Translation: Boss)

"Whatever Vince" I say laughing a bit.

I head upstairs to my room to grab my gym bag.

As I pass by Val's room I thought to myself. 'Later on I should redecorate her room, she doesn't seem like she likes pink'.

"Ready to go?" I ask coming back downstairs.

"Yea come on" Dad says handing Vincent his car keys.

We head out the house to our garage.

Dad sits in the passenger seat and Vincent in the front. Of course that left me in the back.

I'm not angry though, I'm just happy that we get to spend time together, like we used to. Usually we are all to busy to hang with each other.

"So, how have you guys been? Any big news?" Dad asks Vincent and I.

"No not really. Nothing good has happened" Vincent says keeping his eyes on the road.

"Will son, anything new with you?" Dad asks me.

"No nothing" I say.

That was a lie.

I've been seeing someone for a little over a month now, but I'm not ready to tell them yet. I want to wait and see if she is truly the one for me first.

"Alright then" Dad says as Vincent pulls into a private gym that we own.

Did we already have a gym at home? Yes, yes we did. But it was better for us to get out of the house. We were always either there or at our Base.

We walk into our gym and see a lot of our soldiers in there working out.

Once they all seen us, they immediately stopped what they were doing.

"Morning Capo's" They all say once they saw Dad and Vincent.

It didn't really both me that they always acknowledged Vincent and not me. I never wanted to be involved in the Mafia in the first place, I was somewhat forced into this lifestyle.

"Well done men! Keep up the good work!" Dad praises.

"Yes Capo, thank you!" Everyone says, going back to what they were doing.

"So, where should we start" Dad asks us.

"I'm just gonna start with the punching bag" I say putting my gym bag down, while taking my shirt off.

"Alright, you boys go to the punching bag, I'll come after, I'm just gonna watch some of our guys in the ring over there" Dad says pointing towards the ring.

"Ok" Vincent says dryly.

We all nod our heads and start heading to our areas.

"So much for spending time with us" Vincent says, punching the punching bag.

"He's trying Vince" I say doing the same.

"Trying my a*s" Vincent says hitting the punching bag even harder.

"Come on Vince, you already know how Dad is" I say trying my best to calm him down.

Vincent has a temper, but he never lets himself get angry. Instead he just easily gets frustrated.

"Anyways, why'd you lie back in the car?" Vincent says looking at me.

Can never get anything past Vincent huh.

"I didn't feel like telling anyone yet" I say honestly.

"Come on Will, we were close, you can still tell me things. Even though I'm not around as much, I still want to know what happens in my younger siblings lives" Vincent says expressing himself.

First time in a long time Vincent said something that was on his mind instead of avoiding it.

"Well, I have a girlfriend" I say feelings myself turn red.

"Really?! Congrats man-"

"Boss! We have something!" One of our higher ranked soldiers says as they burst into the gym, cutting Vincent off...
