Valentina's POV (TW: Mention of suicide⚠️)
I quickly shake off that feeling and head back to the common area.
"Hello family, nice to see you all again" I greet as me and Tristan walk in.
"Yes Vally?" Leo says staring at me and Tristan hand in hand.
"We need to drop Tristan home. His stupid- I mean lovely creators called and asked him to to come home" I say with a sweet innocent smile.
"What-"
"Will can you drop him home?" I say quickly before Ace could question me.
"Sure, let's go" Will says.
"Ok, later family" I say as I drag Tristan towards the front door.
"Goodbye yall, thanks for letting me come over" Tristan says to everyone.
"Anytime son. You're always welcomed" Dad says.
"Let go of her hand before you end up losing it" Leo threatens.
"Sir yes sir" Tristan says immediately letting go of my hand.
"Alright guys, let's go" Will says with his keys in hand.
We head out the door and get into the car.
"Alright little man, type in your address here" Will instructs.
"Ok" Tristan says.
"So Tristan, any plans for this weekend?" Will asks as he pulls out the drive way.
"Just gonna sit in my room and be on my phone" Tristan shrugs.
"Well you can come with us to our beach house if you want" Will offers.
Wait what
"We're going to a beach house? Wait we had a beach house?! When were you gonna tell me this?!" I ask.
"Uh sure, I'll ask my parents when I get home" Tristan says.
"Alright" Will says.
"Uhm hello? Valentina the great would really appreciate an answer to her question" I say waving my hand.
"Val, it's supposed to be a surprise, so act like you don't know, ok?" Will says with a wink.
I'm good at acting like I don't know things. Or maybe I'm not. Sometimes I just genuinely forget things.
"You got it" I say saluting Will.
For the rest of the ride, me and Tristan were just talking to each other about random stuff. Will was just driving and laughing at our ridiculous conversations.
"Will hear me out man, what if a frog could get high? Do you think they could jump higher or not jump at all?" I ask genuinely wanting to know.
"And on that note, we're here" Will says stoping the car.
"Aw mane" I pout.
I wanted to stay with Tristan a bit longer.
"See ya V" Tristan says as he puts his hand out to do our special handshake.
"Alright Trizzy, if you need anything, text me. You know our emergency word" I say to him.
"Yea" He says he gets out the car.
As Tristan gets out the car, I go and sit in the front seat.
"So what's this about emergency word?" Will asks as we start the drive back home.
"Me and Tristan have this specific word we use for each other and whenever we really need each other. No matter where we are we go to each other. Doesn't matter what time it is." I explain to him.
"Care to explain why such an emergency word is needed" Will asks.
I casually ignored his question and looked out the window.
I don't feel like explaining it. Mainly cause I don't want to recall the situation. EVER. One time when Tristan used the word, I met up with him and he was in tears. It made me so angry to the point I was blinded with rage. He told me some kid had been bullying him for a while and it had gotten to the point that Tristan had attempted to take his own life. That very day, I went to the boys house and ended up breaking their arm and jaw. I never want Tristan to get to that point again. I could've lost my best friend that day. Which is why whenever I think of our emergency word, my mind immediately reverts back to that day.
"Ok, you don't have to tell me bambina" Will says understanding my silence.
See this is why Will is one of my favourite brothers. Even though I've only known them for a short period of time, this is the most love I've ever felt in my entire life.
My favourite brothers like in order would have have to be Leo, Will then Xander. I know, I know. He's been an asshole to me and all, but I do love him. A lot. And I know he cares a lot about me, just doesn't know how to show it.
Anyways.
I just stare out the window the rest of the ride home.
"We're here" Will says snapping me out of my thoughts.
I just simply nod my head and step out the car. I immediately went upstairs to my room.
I am pretty sure I heard Vincent say "What's wrong Vally?"
Honestly I just wasn't in the mood to allow them to see the real me. The me without a fake mask on. The broken me.
I just sit on my bed and turn on my PlayStation. I chose to distract myself from my feelings. See this is why I don't like thinking. Cause here I am in my feelings.
I don't know how long I was in my own world but, I was finally brought to my senses when Leo came into my room.
"Get off the game Val. Go to bed, it's 12:30. You've been playing for 5 hours straight now" Leo tells me.
Damn 5 hours?
"Kay" I say as I put the controller down.
"Vally?" Leo calls out to me in a concerned tone.
"Mhm?" I say laying down.
"Come and talk to me when you've calmed down" Leo says closing my door.
Guess I'm still pretty moody.
Just then, I got a on my phone call from Tristan.
"Yo" I answered.
"Blue Peanut"...
