sophia was woken up by her parents singing with a plate of pancakes. "jesus, guys." she mutters smiling lazily rubbing her tired eyes. "you guys do this every year. it's getting a little old."
she sits up and smiles when her mom raises up her phone showing nikki singing the happy birthday song through facetime.
"oh, shut up you love it." will placed the plate up to her face.
marta kissed sophia's forehead "happy birthday, my love."
"happy birthday, loser." nikki shouts out.
"go ahead and make a wish kiddo."
sophia smiles tucking her hair behind her ear and thinking for a moment before blowing out the candles that read 18. "i love you guys." she says only for will to shove the pancakes in her face getting whip cream and chocolate syrup all over her nose and chin. "dad!"
marta slaps his shoulder, "will." she reprimands trying to hide her laughter.
sophia gets up from her bed starting to chase after him as he ran out of her room and into the hallways.
"hey! be careful, i just mopped!"
