I'm not usually one for trigger warnings (because you pretty much know what you're getting into with one of my fics) but this chapter is incredibly gory. You guys are probably used to violence in this fic, but this one's a little extreme. I can put a recap in the author's note for those of you who don't want to read this chapter, just put a comment up asking for one (●'◡'●)

Keigo really wished he had been more attentive in his international studies lessons with the commission. He was pretty good at identifying languages, don't get him wrong, but a lot of the nuances of the nightmare were lost on him because he didn't understand what a lot of the people were saying.

It didn't help that they were speaking into radios and it was all garbled. He couldn't even see a radio near him, so he didn't know why he was hearing it.

And that was probably because this wasn't Keigo's nightmare.

Well, he was the one having the nightmare, the one experiencing it, but he was a fly on the wall. Unable to interact with the intricately crafted images. A witness.

He didn't recognize the building he was in. It was some sort of warehouse, likely abandoned by the state of it. There were some holes in the roof, showcasing the night sky and the stars above.

Keigo couldn't leave the room. The walls were about the only thing he could touch and the door was locked from the other side.

After a few minutes of just hearing the radio it cut out.

"What was that for?" A voice asked, a very familiar voice. It was Sanyu. He sounded just about the same in English as he did in Japanese.

There was no response from whoever else was with him. The door shook a little bit before opening.

"I could have blasted the lock off, you didn't have to melt it." Sanyu said, walking into the dimly lit warehouse.

He looked around, obviously curious about the warehouse. Keigo marveled at the visibly younger version of the boy. Probably only a year or so younger than the Sanyu he knew, but still. He was basically taller than Keigo at this point, here he was unmistakably shorter.

His combat gear was about the same as it was now. The jacket hung off his shoulders in the nightmare, more so than it did in the real world. His hair was shorter too, nearly buzzed by the length. He looked exhausted.

The biggest difference had to be the gun in his hand. Keigo didn't know much about firearms, but whoever gave that to Sanyu wasn't messing around. The pro hero didn't want to think about someone giving a 15 year old a gun, because what were they for if not to kill? No child should be made to hold such a weapon.

The girl who had melted the lock followed him into the room. She was a bit taller than Sanyu and obviously older. Bleach blonde hair and tanned skin with bright amber eyes that glowed like bonfires. Keigo realized immediately that she must be Firestar, a member of the new Six mentioned in Sanyu's police interviews.

It was interesting. Keigo wondered if this is how he subconsciously pictured someone who's hero name was Firestar to look. He certainly hadn't tried to picture her or anyone else before.

"Clementine?" Sanyu asked, looking a little confused, "You okay?". The girl didn't answer, she just walked over to Sanyu until the two were only about 3 feet away. She reached for his gun and pulled it out of his hands, chucking it to the other side of the warehouse. Sanyu didn't stop her or protest any of this, he just looked worried.

"I've been worried about you since we got off the plane." He began, "You don't look good. You're pale and you keep flinching whenever we talk. You need to tell me what's wrong.".
