You take a deep breath and start running again this time a bit slower. Your senses are now clearer than anytime before.
Only 15 minutes pass until you reach the area. Suma isn't following you just like you predicted.
The endless grass looks like a sea of green. Noone's around also just like you predicted. There're big stones in the middle of the area that throw large shadows in your direction.
You don't hesitate but sprint to the stones to hide behind them. It's easy to tell where the other teams are coming from.
With heavy breaths you make yourself as small as possible and try to breath slowly. A minute of silence...only the whistles of the birds are hearable. Then the noise of footsteps. It's so loud even though you are at least 100 meters away. You try to count them but your senses aren't that supernatural.

Maybe the boar head could count them.
How many did Kanao knock off? You didn't hear an announcement. Is she alright?

The footsteps run towards you, just like predicted.
It's so beautiful when everything goes like planned.

"The stones! Let's go onto them so we can keep them all away from us!" shouts a female voice.

Yes, come to me.

The footsteps come closer and closer. You know that they will see you as soon as they reach the stones.

You fiddle in the pockets of your haori and pull out a tiny vessel. The liquid inside is nearly white and difficult to see.

Time to shine!

You jump onto the stones seconds before the other team can do so. A grin is in your face.
The woman's eyes narrow and she jumps back. Her partner does so too.

"You knew that we would come?" she asks already knowing the answer.
She looks like she's got experience. Enough to notice the vessel.

"Pay attention to her hand!" she warns her partner who nods and grabs a hold of his katana.

"You're not allowed to use it against me" you remind him.

He doesn't shove. The team stays focused on you.

Without hesitation you drop the vessel to the ground and the sound of the glass splitting fills the silence. Fog rises around the stones and the team jumps back. They are irritated which is your possibility to pull out another vessel and throw it behind them. The fog now appears also behind them and spreads throughout the area. It closes above and around the field dimming the sunlight.

"What's this?!" the woman screams.

You keep throwing vessels all around you until the whole area is put into dark fog that makes it impossible to clearly see anything.

Which one of them has the crow?

The team completely disappears in the fog so do you. You hear them as they try to cut the fog with their katanas but it's useless. This fog was more or less invented by your brother. Noone's able to make it vanish except you have giant wings to blow it away. Not that your brother would have them.
You feel safe enough to leave the team on its own and to drop more vessels all over the grass field. While doing so you hear the other team arriving. They seem overwhelmed and hesitate to enter the fog.
It's the boar dude. You're impressed that he made it in time.

Where's Kanao?

The muffled sound of voices can be heard through the fog and you know that they are trying to orientate. They won't find their aim tho if you do your next step but you have to be sure that Kanao's not around.

Leaving the field and go into the forest would be too risky....but hoping that Kanao won't enter the fog isn't promising either. Aaargh! That's why you hate partner work. You always have to relay on others.
