You've heard of sirens, Odysseus, Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase have faced them. But have you ever wondered how the legend and the reality came to be? Sirens were not meant to be the horrible looking creatures they were made to be.
The original was nowhere near that. The original was cursed. She was never destined to be a siren. In fact she was turned, for rejecting a god, for running from the places she was afraid of. And had her family stripped from her.
She was cursed to live forever, stuck to the sea. She was blessed by Apollo, her own lover. Her voice, an enchantment, turned into a weapon. She used her power to rule the gods' children in seeing if they were anything like their parents, any failure so she claimed them, creating the siren legend.
She targeted Children of the Big Three. The ones who ruined her lives. Now three months after the Gaea's War she struck again after over 100 years of being silent. She goes back into the world a little close to home.
