Chapter 04 - First Lesson

                                           Thomas's POV

"Ugh..." I groaned, still feeling tired, "Seriously why! It's so early, I wanna sleep more." I complained

"Well, Professor William did called us, so I'm assuming it's urgent?" Ian said, "Yeah! at fucking 5:35 AM!" I said as I let out another groaned, while Ray patted my back from the other side.

Darius chuckled, "I can tell you're always tired, even if you woke up from a long sleep." I groaned as I glance towards the lion, "Is that a bad thing?" I asked, he just shrugged and smiled.

"Maybe?" He said to which I groaned.

Right now, the five of us are currently heading towards the university, since Professor William called us... Man I want to rest more, This is so unfair... I miss my comfy bed.

Few minutes had passed, we all then arrived at the university as we exited the bus, I look around and there were some people in the university gate.

"Huh, I thought the place would be quite in this time." Ian said, "I'm probably guessing they are preparing for the class, It is about to start in a few hours." I said as all of then head towards the office.

'Professor William' As what's on the label written above the door, I then approach the door and knock on to it a few times.

"Come in." A voice from the room said, we all then went inside.

When we entered the room, Professor William was looking at us, but mostly me, he looks serious.

"We are here Professor, Is there something you need on us?" I asked to which the tall big husky stood up and approach us, "My apologies that I may have to called you five so early, but we were in a tight schedule." He said as he handed each paper towards the four of them, each colors are different, but Ray's and Ian's are a black and white colored paper.

"Here are your ranking result, my apologies it was rather late." He said as the three of them started to get excited, especially Ray.

I look at the tall husky and asked, "What about me Professor?"

"Oh, I currently do not have it, but the dean has your result, so you may need to follow towards the dean's office. There is also something the principal would like to talk with you on about." Professor William to which I nodded, "I understand."

"Eh? Why does the dean wants to talk with Thomas?" Ray asked, "That is nothing for you to be concerned of, for now you three should look at your results, your assigned classes will be in there as well." He said as he look back at me again.

"Now then, Please follow me Mister Thomason." He said as I nodded in response, before we then started to head towards the principal's office.

As we were walking in the school hallway, I can't help but look at the taller husky in front of me, he kinda reminded me of someone, but of course I just shrug it off and didn't think of it too much. Everything was silent as we walk through the hallway.

"Umm, Why does the principal wants to talk with me?" I asked breaking the silent, He looked at me and responded, "I do not know myself, but I do think its about your ranking results."

"Ah, I see." After that, everything went silent once more.

"...If I may ask." He started as he stopped walking, before turning around facing towards me, "Hm?"

"Do you umm.. Do you remember me?" Professor William questioned, I tilted my head slightly as I think, "Hmm, I... don't." I said to which the taller husky chuckled.

"Figures, you were still a pup back then." He said to which made me slightly confused, "Eh?"

"I use to visit you and your father back then, and I've see you have grown up." The husky said as he smiled, I only stare at him still slightly confused from what he just said, before realizing something.

"Wait, does you and my dad know each other." I questioned to which he nodded, "Of course, He and I enrolled in this university, we were very close friends." He replied.

My eyes widened in surprised, "Why didn't I know about this?" He slightly chuckled, "It's because you were a pup back when I visited you." He said to which I let out a slight groaned.

"My old man could have told me..." I said, "Well he is quite forgetful at times." The older husky said to which I nodded, "Yeah no kidding."

"Don't tell me my father has more connections in this university." I replied to which he smiled, "Of course he does, the principal included."

"Let me guess, he wanted to see me?" I said to which he replied with a nod, "His a quite clingy person, I still remember the last time we visited you and your father back, he immediately went to find you, but you ran and scream when you saw him." He said.

"...I thought it was some kind of a dream, he felt like a threat to me." I replied to which the older husky snorted, "I'm really surprised I don't remember things back when I was a pup... until now."

"Well yes, the more you've grown, your memories slowly fades away in your head." He said, "huh."

"We should better continue now, the dean is waiting for you. It's good to see you've grown up so much of all of this years Thomas." He replied with a smile, I smiled back, "Thanks professor, I guess it's nice see you as well."

We both then continued walking towards the dean's office, when we arrived, the door was so big and tall, "Is this really necessary? to make this door big and tall..." I said to which the older husky shrugged.

He then knock on the door as a voice from the other side responded, "Please come in."

We then both entered and greeted by intimidating 2 eyes,  the lion was then focused onto me, "Professor William, you may go now." The large lion said as the husky responded with a nod.

"You'll be okay, don't worry." Professor William said as he pat my shoulder, before exiting the room.

"I presume you're Alexander's child..." He said, "Umm, yes I am..." I replied as I gulp, "I see..." The large lion then stood up and start approaching me.

Holy shit, he's really tall, much taller than my dad...

Then the lion stops in front of me as he places his arms on both of my shoulders, still looking intimidating. 

'Am I gonna die?' I said to myself as I ready myself.

"Boy! You sure have grown since the last time I've seen you!" He said to which I look at him with a slight surprised expression on my face.

Oh yeah... I remember, why was I so afraid about him before...

"Boy? Do you remember me?" He asked, "I actually did.. just now." I responded to which the older lion frowned slightly.

He sighed, "Well you were still a pup back then, and I see you are the same as your father, quite forgetful." The lion said as he laugh.

You don't have to remind me really...

"Well anyways, it is nice to see you again Thomas, I haven't seen you in a very long time now. You sure have grown quite a lot my boy!" He said as he pat my shoulder.

"I still remember the first time I've seen you! you were running and screaming away from me like I was some kind of a threat." He said, "You were." I replied to which the older  lion froze up in shock.

And here I thought he was scary before, I guess I shouldn't really judge people out of nowhere, just because they look intimidating...

"How are you and your father? it's been a while since I visited you and him." He asked, "Oh we are doing fine, dad's doing his usual daily routine." I responded.

"Let me guess, work?"  I nodded, The older lion sighed, "He hasn't changed has he..." I chuckled, "That's just dad."

"Well anyways, here's your entrance test result."  He then show a paper, but its a different color, same as Ian's and Ray's

I then took it, "Congratulations, you're one of the X ranking students." The lion responded to which I stare at him, still trying to comprehend on whats happening.

"Uhh, yay?" I responded to which the older lion face looks offended, "What do you by yay?! you should grateful and excited that you are an X ranker! only few students can get into that rank boy!" He shouted as he crossed his arm.

I scratch the back of my head, "I am grateful and excited in the inside, my apologies if I didn't sounded all that excited." I chuckled, the lion only sighed.

"You better head out now, your class is about to start." He said as I look at my watch on my wrist, 6:48 AM, wow... time sure flies fast.

"Your assigned class will be there and your schedules as well." He said to which I nodded in response, "It is good that you're taking the same path as your father Thomas, he must be proud." I smiled, "I hope so." I said as I exited the room.

I then start walking as I find my way towards the classroom I was assigned in, I look at the paper on my hand, "So the room is at 4th floor." I then glance at my left and saw an orbiter, but a smaller one.

Thank god... an orbiter.

I then entered the orbiter and pressed the number four button on the hologram, as It began moving upwards, after some few minutes of waiting, the orbiter then stops and opens the door, I then exited and began to head towards my classroom.

It didn't took me long to find the room, since the door was the same color of the paper I have, "Neat door." I said to myself, as I then entered the room, I was then greeted by a pair of eyes, before all of them then minded their own business, I just shrugged.

I then glanced at the back right side of the room and saw some students were surrounding over some two students, complimenting and asking questions towards them, I can also noticed some girls are trying to flirt towards them.

Oh and guess what on who they are, Ian and Ray. Wow Ray has kinda gotten popular now.

I then look over to the left and saw a red wolf who was listening to some music with his headset, his body built was average, not that tall as well, but I gotta admit he looks adorable.

He then noticed me as he wave his hand to me, while smiling, I smiled back and then wave back.

"Thomas! sit over here!" Ian called to which some of the students glance on me again, seriously... this guy.
