Chapter 17 - Switch

 Tom's POV

"Wooow, this place looks bigger up close than I had anticipated. Dam." Adam whistles in awe as he stares at the school building in front of us.

Huh, deja vu.

I let out a light chuckle. "Yeah, it sure does." I then patted Adam's shoulder.

"Let's go in?" I said, to which Adam nodded with excitement.

"Right behind you brother!" He replied. I just shook my head amusedly as the both of us then started to walk inside.

"Ha... The place is much nicer inside I must admit." Adam says while I just shrug in response. "I guess?"

"Though... Not as crowded as I thought it would be." He says. "Well, I mean, we went in quite early, after all." I told Adam. "Mmm. Point taken."

Adam and I then continued on walking around the place, showing him which classrooms I went in or so to which intrigue him very much. Later after that, we then went to uncle Leon's office, which caught him off guard from seeing Adam.

Of course uncle was all very affection upon seeing Adam again. Just how and I talk again on the first day of school.

It made Adam quite uncomfortable with how uncle headlocks him in place. It was quite amusing not gonna lie.

"Boy!! It's been so long! How are you doing?!" Uncle Leon says as he then lets go of Adam to which he backs away a bit from the big lion as he then fixes his fur hair. "Quite well... I suppose." Adam responded to uncle.

The lion laughs. "That's very good to hear!!" He says before looking at my direction. "Oh, and by the way, Thomas. I would like to speak with you about some matters, privately if you wouldn't mind." Uncle says to me.

"Uh sure, but what is this on about?" I asked, but uncle only waved his hand, not wanting to tell because Adam is still in the room. "Again, privately my boy." He says.

Slightly tilting my head in confusion, I just shrugged it off before looking back at Adam and I spoke to him. "Do you mind waiting outside for a while, Adam?" I asked my twin before, to which he nodded with a smile. "I already know." He says.

"This may take long, so you could go to the cafeteria and grab something to eat there, maybe wander for a bit or so?" I told him, to which he gave me another nod. "Might do that. The smell of food from the cafeteria was good after all, it made me hungry." Adam laughs, to which I followed with a slight chuckle. "I know what you mean."

"Welp. Just call me if you two are done talking, alright?" Adam said. "Sure, I'll let you know afterwards." I responded to Adam to which he gave me a thumbs up before he started to exit the room.

"Hold on, before you go, take this with you." Uncle Leon stood up as he walked towards Adam, an I.D in hand. "Show this if one of the guards or any staff in this academy called you out." Uncle said to Adam.

"Ahh, much thanks uncle!" Adam replied.

"Now then, have fun exploring the place more! Oh, and I would love to talk with you more in regards to your education from Izenfort, I'll probably visit your place after work. If it's alright to both of you, of course." Uncle Leon said.

"I wouldn't mind really." I responded.

"Same goes for me. I will tell you everything about my experience at Delfrost University uncle!" Adam said to uncle, to which made him very happy. "That's great! I'll be at 9PM, sounds good?" Uncle says as the two of us nodded with a smile.

"Well then, I best be off now so the two of you could start discussing." Adam says before proceeding to head towards the door.

"Enjoy out there, Adam." I said to him, "You know I will." He says with a grin before waving and exiting the room.
