Chapter 10 - A Sudden Danger [Part 2]

Sheesh, sorry this took long guys, I've been dealing with plenty of life problems and stuff and all. But ey!! chapter 10 is here!!! I hope you enjoy it : D [If there's mistakes, please let me know!!!]

                                                    (Tom's POV)

Bang!

He fired. But nothing happened, nor I got shot. When I opened my eyes, I noticed a familiar red wolf in front of me, It was Nicholas who was holding a bullet on his paw.

"Made It in time!" He said while heavily panting. He then looked at me and asked, "Are you okay Tom?" I nodded, quite surprised from his sudden appearance.

I then groaned from the pain and fell down on my knee, "No you aren't. Just take a rest for now, I'll hand this." He said before facing the rogue, who was reloading his gun.

"Oh wow, I can sense that you are quite strong. I suppose we could play for a bit." The dragon said, raising his hand towards Nicholas. "I'm hella bored after all." He grinned before pulling his hand in the air, as both of them then disappeared.

"What in the!" I said, surprised from what just happened before groaning again from the sudden pain  as I pant heavily, "Fuck, I'm so useless!"

                                              (Nicholas's POV)

"Welcome! I hope you enjoy your stay for the time being here~" The dragon playfully said. I chuckled, "I might." I said while I look around and noticed a quite purplish environment, and noticed some random buildings that were floating around.

"Oh, I forgot to mention! Once you entered in this dimension, you can't use your gift. Just a heads up!" The dragon said, while laughing at me.

"Fine by me, I don't need my gift to beat your sorry ass up after all!" I replied as I cracked my knuckles. "Tsk, I like your overconfidence and all, but we will see where it leads you!" He yelled, "Yeah, we will see." I said before repelling my self towards him.

It caught him by surprised, causing him to lose his balance. I took this chance by kicking him upward, before jumping in the air and grabbed his leg, throwing him from afar.

I move my head to the left as a bullet went past me. He was still able to create a small rift, while being attacked huh?

Suddenly, I felt a hand grabbed my foot, It was him, dragging me slowly into the small rift he created beneath me.

"I got you brat!" He said, before immediately pulled me in the rift, and threw me at the side as I hit some of the floating buildings behind me. I grunted from each  hit.

I quickly hold onto one of the bars from the building, as I spun around it for a bit, before launching myself towards him again.

Before I could even reach him, a rift then appeared in front of me, exiting from the dimension as I crashed onto the ground.

I cough and groaned, "I fucking hate that guy." I was then pulled back in his dimension and grabbed me by my neck. I tried to struggle away from his grip, but it was no use. "Man... You're so pathetic." He snickered.

Shit! I can't breath!

'You look incredibly pathetic there kid. The dragon was right.'

My inner voice said mockingly while laughing.

'Kid, if you'd let me control your body, I'll destroy him for you.'
