"you are so fucking embarrassing" Athena said
"no i'm not, she just needed a little nudge in the right direction" i said shrugging my shoulders
"whatever" Athena said
The door opened causing everyone to look in that direction. Sage came in looking uncomfortable and confused. I got up and walked to her grabbing a plastic bucket.
"Put your shit in here" I said handing her the bucket
she snatched it from my hand and put her keys in it.
"jewelry too" I said looking her up and down
"why" she asked
"put your damn jewelry in the bucket" I said irritated
"give me a reason and i'll put my jewelry in the bucket" She said crossing her arms and shifting her weight on one leg
"so we know you ain't an opp" I said raising my eyebrow
"mmcht" she sucked her teeth putting her jewelry in the bucket
"is that all" she asked with an attitude
"what you got on you" I asked looking her up and down looking for anything that signaled that she had a weapon on her
"my phone and my airpods" she said rolling her eyes
"mane you doing too much just leave" i said not feeling her vibe
"i ain't wanna be here in the first place the fuck" she said grabbing her stuff getting ready to leave
"damn you just gonna let her talk to you like that? and on top of that sla-" My older brother Bryson started to say but stopped when i looked at him
"i'm just saying if that was me i would've shot her" he mumbled rolling a blunt
Athena got up and walking towards the door.
"man let her go" i said already knowing where she was going
"i'm not losing another friend cause of you" she said leaving
"not my fucking business" i said sitting down

As i walking towards my car I heard someone calling my name, but this time i ignored it
"SAGE" Athena yelled
I sighed turning around
"yes" i said irritated and pissed off
"i'm really sorry about my brother. he can be a bitch sometimes but i promise he's not all that bad when you get to know him" she said catching her breath
"look any other day it wouldn't have bothered me but I didn't even wanna be here. all i wanted was to go home and sleep" I said
"it won't happen again" Athena said
"yea it better not" I said unlocking my car
"and sage" athena said as i opened my car door
"hmm" i said looking at her
"drive safe" She said smiling before walking away
I got in my car and pulled off driving in complete silence. I needed to just think. I stopped at a red light and thought about today's events.
The cars honking behind me snapped me out my thoughts as i continued driving and thinking.
I pulled into my driveway seeing that no one was home.
