After I dropped Zaire off, I made my way to school. After I parked my car I made my way to the library and waited for serenity and dee while on my phone.
"wassup casper" I heard disire say from behind me
"heyyy"I said
"wassup monkey" Serenity said sitting down next to me
"why cant yall be normal for one day, just one day?" I asked closing my phone
"where you been?" Serenity asked disregarding my question which wasnt really a question but who cares
"she been busy getting her back blown out" Disire said sticking her finger throught the hole she made with her hand
"grow up" I said rolling my eyes
"You been skipping school for some dick sage?" Serenity asked
"no...not completely. I have been busy doing some things" I said crossing my arms
"mhm like what?" serenity asked
"like none of your beeswax" I said sticking my tongue out at her
"now whos the immature one?" She responded
"oop who is this on our lock screen?" Disire said and I didnt even realize she took my phone
"none ya" I said snatching my phone from her
"and why you change your password?" She asked again
"cause too many people knew it" I said putting my phone in my back pocket
"we the only ones who know it" Disire said
"two people too many" I shrugged
"why you being so secretive? Mr.lover boy changing you" she continued to pester me
"why you asking me so many questions?" I asked
"I just wanna know who got you skipping school and ditching us" She said crossing her arms
"ok ok dee. Sage said she got caught up with some stuff, it happens so chill out. We texted while she was away so she wasnt ditching us, you probably just didnt reach out, remember communication works both ways. and as for mr.lover boy, she will tell us when shes ready, just chill out" Serenity jumped in
"Thank you" I replied
"well excuse me" Disire said rolling her eyes
"I do have one question tho" Serenity said
"i may have an answer" I responded
"are yall dating" She said turning her body to face towards me
"im leaving" I said grabbing my stuff
"gasp YOU ARE" she said slapping the table
"shhh" the librarian said
"my fault" Serenity said
"when did this happen?" She asked
"not too long ago" I said keeping it short
"oh so when she asks you something you answer but when I do, im being annoying?" Disire said
"who said you were being annoying?" I said
"whatever, imma go get breakfast and head to class" Disire said grabbing her stuff and getting up
"you dont even eat school breakfast" I said
"how would you know? you aint been here in days" Disire said leaving
"what is her problem?" I asked Serenity
"probably on her period" Serenity responded
"she need some weed in her life" I said
"that part" Serenity said
The bell rang and we made our way to first period.
"ahh look whos back. Hello Sage, so nice of you to join us" My teacher said when I walked in
"I was only put 3 days but go off" I said to serenity causing her to snicker
"something you wanna say?" My teacher asked looking at us
"I didnt say anything" I said putting my hands up in surrender
"thats what I thought. Pick up your work and sit down" The teacher said
"ma'am yes ma'am" I responded
"are you giving me attitude?" She asked
"i didnt even do anything" I laughed
"so this is funny to you?" the teacher said again
"ok" I said sitting down
"ok?" the teacher repeated
"we'll try again tomorrow" I said grabbing my late work and leaving the classroom because I wasnt about to do this today
I made my way t student services and sat down
"what are you doing here sage?" Mrs. Willis said
"why else would I be here during first period?" I responded
"do you even try to be nice?" Mrs. Willis asked
"I dont be starting it" I said starting on my late work
"mhm where you been the past three days?" She asked
"family emergency" I said
"everything ok?" She asked
"yea" I said
"alright then" She said going back to doing her work on the computer
Mrs.Willis was the student secretary. She was old white women and basically the students' favorite grandma.
She let me chill in student services everytime that teacher was on her peiod and never let me be marked as absent for the class cause she know that teacher be tripping
imma miss her when I graduate
