The Beginning

Mishti Bose

"I'm sorry but I have to leave you. Mishti, I'll come back for you. When you open your eyes." Sebastian said holding my hand.

"Please. Mujhe chodke mat jaana." I whispered.

"Are chudail uth!" He shouted and I flinched.

That's when I opened my eyes.

"Kitna soyegi be? Uthna!" It was my devil. Yes, my sister!
"Sone de na! Kitna acha sapna tha. Seb was almost going to kiss me." I said dreamily sighing into my pillow.
"Yikes! Wo na second hand vampire jaisa dikhta hai. Har photo me itna stoned koi kaise ho sakta hai!" She screamed.

Sebastian Stan ladies! And she was calling him a second hand vampire. My sister doesn't value great things. Like my presence.

"Sunday hai yaar. Aur wo bhi chutti ka last day. Kal se daily 24 hours padh padhke mera dimaag ka jo bhi active part bacha hai na, uska battery bhi dead hojayega. At least aaj to recharge karne de! Tujhe wo Iron Man ka helmet dilwa dungi!" I pleaded Niharika.

"First of all! Wo helmet nahi hai. It's J.A.R.V.I.S. And second of all, tere paas dilaane ke liye ek paisa bhi nahi hai so chill. Flex mat kar. Bhikari." She landed beside me.

"Are hai na! Last month jo baba ne bheja tha, usko maine use nahi kiya tere jaise. Paanch hazaar tere liye." I winked and she grinned evilly.
"Kya kiya tune ab?" I questioned her.
"Aur isliye maine bola tumhe Vijay ki usko paise mat bhejo. Kuch nahi karegi tumhari beti. Bas apne behen ko aur bigad degi." Maa complained.

I groaned and got up. My pillow, my sleep and especially my Sebastian had to wait till today's night.

"Ugh Niha! Bata nahi sakti thi!" I ran behind her.
"Maa! Didi ka chudail mode activated!" She screamed.
Carefully descending down the stairs, I ran towards the kitchen where she was hiding behind my mom.

"Baahar aa." I warned her.
"Nahi aaungi." She showed her tongue.
The next second I took the water jug from the dining table.
"Piku, no!" Mom freaked out.

"She has to come out warna mai saara paani phek dungi! Decide karo Maa. Aapki beti ya apke banarasi saadi." I said in a high pitched voice.
"My saadi over this little devil at any time!" Maa said and moved aside.

I threw the water jug and it fell on Dadi! She was sitting behind Niha and cutting vegetables.
"Mishti! Ekhane ashun! Apnake ekhon bolbo!" She started scolding in the language that I loved the most.
(Idhar aa! Abhi bataungi tujhe!)

"Are Dadi! Amar dosh chila na! Teri choti poti hai na, uska kaam hai!" I screamed and ran faster towards the living room.
(Meri galti nahi thi)
Baba was just watching us perplexed because not everyday he gets to see his mother wet and fuming.

"Maa! Ki holo?" He questioned.
(What happened?)
"Teri betiyan. Are mai jab iske umar me thi na, tab tujhe aur tere bhaiyyo ko sambhalthi thi. Bhejo isko shaadi karwake. Tab pata chalega maike ka keemat." She huffed and sat down. Baba looked at us and then started grinning.

"Are Maa. Ab zamana badal gaya hai. Betiyan sirf shaadi aur bacchon ke liye, khud ke liye bhi jee rahe hai. Bamchte dao." He replied and I put my arms around his neck.
(Jeene do)

"Oye! Endgame dekhegi?" Niha asked from the movie room.
"Sure bro." I gave a quick peck to baba's cheek and ran into the room to escape Dadi's lecture. I loved the woman but sometimes she'd get on my nerves. And baba would shut her up everytime.

"Baba! Tumio ki ashabe?" I shouted.
(Aap bhi aaoge?)
"Na! Tum log enjoy karo. Aur ha! Kuhu ne paanch baar phone karliya. Tu uske haath me marne wali hai Piku!" He chuckled.
Shit!
