Just to recap the last two chapters because A LOT has happened
Chapter 7- Kris's mom explains what happened the night of the incident saying she felt bad for not doing anything because of the fear and kris takes none of it and walks out and hurts herself.
Chapter 8- It is the next day and Kris decides to go to Maria's house for a visit. Maria and kris and Maria find the cut on her leg. she helps her with her leg. (it was a pretty short chapter)
Friends come in all shapes and sizes. Some are unexpected but they are there until the end.
Real friends are not the ones you spend every day with and see them physically. Friends are the ones who are there for you mentally and emotionally
