Trapped in my insecurities
I found myself longing for change
The change came
It wasn't as I'd expected
It brought more vain
More than what I was running from
As change is constant
It took place and finally free
From my dark Knight
Disguised as a Prince
Knowing very well I'm no princess
I longed for long longing for freedom
Longing for change
Now this change gave me freedom
But trapped me in an unknown world
Without my Protectors
I am and I have experienced too much
In the hours I've been away.
Won't come back the same
But hoping I don't go back dead.
