"Rock, scissor, paper, shoot!"

Soleil and Hu Tao chorused before laying their hands against each other. Soleil did rock and Hu Tao did paper.

"Yes! I win~!" Hu Tao cheered. She giggled mischievously before smudging Soleil's face with charcoal on the small pan beside them.

"Really?" Soleil asked in disbelief while Hu Tao laughed, "Does it have to be my whole face? Even I only left bits on you!"

Hu Tao only had small black streaks on her forehead and cheek compared to Soleil, who looked like she had a mud mask with so much charcoal on her face.

"Well, too bad. You lose," Hu Tao stuck her tongue out with an impish look, "Again!"

"I'm really gonna get you," Soleil said with a firm frown, "Rock, scissor, paper, shoot!"

Hu Tao won with scissor this time. "Hehe~!" she smirked and placed more charcoal on Soleil's other cheek with a light slap.

"Grr..." Soleil gave her a look. "Rock, scissor, paper, shoot!" Hu Tao recited before they laid their hands against each other again.

"I win!" Soleil grinned when she won with paper. She dipped her hand into the pan and squished it all over Hu Tao's face.

"H-Hey! That's not fair!" Hu Tao complained. "Oh, really?" Soleil smirked victoriously.

"Hmph..." Hu Tao pouted as she can taste the charcoal on her lips, "Again!"

"Rock, scissor, paper, shoot!... Win again," Soleil smiled smugly and smeared more on Hu Tao's face.

"Rock, scissor, paper, shoot!" Soleil said. Hu Tao won and she smirked, "Heh."

She grabbed the pan and poured it on Soleil's head. "Ah! M-My clothes!" Soleil said in horror. Then, she yelled, "Hu Tao!"

"Oopsies~! Sorry about that," Hu Tao said, but her satisfied smirk said otherwise. Soleil's eyes glinted, "Oh, you're gonna get it."

"Whoops! Hahaha!" Hu Tao jumped off the couch when Soleil lunged at her and ran around the room, giggling as Soleil chased after her.

"Why so angry, Soleil? It was just a game! No need to be a sore loser," Hu Tao called tauntingly.

"You poured it on my head! Now come here and get your share!" Soleil said and chased Hu Tao up the stairs, only to watch her jump off.

"Bleh!" Hu Tao taunted. "You're so dead," Soleil said, "I'm going to make you wash my clothes once I'm done with you!"

The two of them chased each other across the room, eventually turning it into a game of chase and giggles. Hu Tao was about to run outside when she opened the door.

Instead, she bumped into something sturdy. "Owwie!" Hu Tao cried and held her head, "Man, what is a wall doing outside the–"

Her words were cut when she looked up. It wasn't a wall... It was someone's chest.

Hu Tao's eyes widened as a shadow was cast by Zhongli's tall build. He had a small frown and crossed his arms.

"Oh, um... Hi?" Hu Tao smiled sheepishly. "Mr. Zhongli!" Soleil said and nervously laughed, "Didn't see you there, haha..."

"This room is a mess. And so are the both of you," Zhongli said as he looked around. He glanced at the girls with a serious look, "You two..."

"W-We were just playing! No biggie! You can join if you want!" Hu Tao stammered nervously.

"R-Right," Soleil said. She gulped when Zhongli walked towards her.

"And you..." Zhongli said. Soleil blinked her nervous eyes at him as she was subjected to a stern frown from the usually calm man.
