Drawbacks are that she also gains pretty bad headaches, becomes too exhausted for every day life activities & errands after a while (like a few weeks to a month) of not feeding on sexual energy (generally leads to a small depressive episode).

Drawbacks include blackouts where he gets more violent than usual, the mental status of a drunk (can happen before and after the blackout), migraines and occasional cuts from the glass (really it's him getting reckless).
