A/n: Before we get started, I wanted to change something up real quick. I know I said I wasn't gonna do a specific weight, and I'm still not writing a number down because I'm not tryna trigger anyone. H o w e v e r, I do need to make it clear that for this plot to work, Y/n is gonna have to be plus-sized. I mean how else do you hide a whole pregnancy of triplets without a lil meat on them bones, right? Well, if I'm honest, you'd need to be pretty big to hide triplets. But that's besides the point. This doesn't mean I love the skinny queens any less than the heavy-weight champs, and I promise y'all will have your time too. But I wanna do this for the plot and to get plus-sized self love out there. I don't see it enough on here on Wattpad.

Also, I didn't expect this chapter to be this long! (3339 words) Sorry bout that I'll try to keep the next ones shorter. Anyway, on with the story.

Hawks' pov:

"There she is," Dabi rasped, pulling Hawks out of his little hypnotized haze. Hawks watched as you gave a small, embarrassed smile and giggled a little. Hawks noticed the visibly rigid posture you carried. Despite not being around pregnant women often, he could tell you were incredibly uncomfortable. It was almost like you were... nervous? He didn't have time to question it-- or, well, it's more like his thought process halted completely as your cat-like f/c eyes locked onto his own golden irises, question and suspicion written clear across your face as you took in his appearance.

An awkward nervousness creeped up Hawks' spine as he stood trapped by your blatant scrutiny. His words caught in his throat, next to where he was holding his breath. Intense would be a good word to describe you. Whether it was because of your dangerous quirk or the general aura you gave off, he couldn't tell. All he knew was he wanted to run and hide from your piercing gaze, yet at the same time, he felt like he could spill his secrets to you in this very moment if you asked him to. That part had his instincts raging to look away, but he was physically locked in. Whether that was caused by your will or his own.. he couldn't tell. He wasn't even sure he wanted to look away despite the red flags shining brighter than his own vermillion wings would in the sunlight.

Eventually, Dabi cleared his throat, causing the the pair of animalistic eyes to lock back onto the scarred man. Relief flooded the winged man's senses as he could finally have a break from the metaphorical silent hot-seat you'd sat him in. He almost pitied and envied Dabi for capturing your gaze next.

"Sleepy," Dabi said, addressing you. 'Sleepy?' Hawks was positively confused by that nickname, assuming it wasn't your real name. You hummed in acknowledgement towards Dabi with a smile.

"How are you, baby?" He watched as Dabi spoke casually. Ignoring the pang of jealousy brought on by the immediate assumption that Dabi managed to pull himself a girlfriend; two things caught his attention. The first thing was the extremely laidback tone Dabi had. It's like he wasn't having a sketchy meeting with a pro-hero in a back alley. Like he forgot he's a villain. Was this your doing? If it was, did it have something to do with your quirk? From what he could see, you simply were just a demon. That was only half of the questions he had running through his head.

The second thing Hawks noticed was Dabi's new-found habit of talking animatedly. He'd moved his hands while speaking and it threw Hawks for a loop. What was Dabi doing and why??

"I'm fine. How are you?" You responded back to him in sign language, giving Hawks an answer to his last question much earlier than he expected. He'd never actually communicated with anyone in sign, but he'd been required to take that, along with many other language lessons growing up, by the commission; mainly for covert or sting missions. Although, he figured it was more useful conversing with civilians using sign to make the deaf feel a part of the conversation. At least, it was his hope to use it for that reason.
