3rd POV:

Looking over the busy streets of Republic city a family is seen on a nearby rooftop. The only thing on the rooftop was the entrance to it as well as a beautiful greenhouse, the family was made up of a mother a father and a son.

The mother wore a dark green dress which had a light green ribbon with a black stone on the end of it wrapped around her waist. Her (h/c) hair was tied securely in a bun to keep the hair out of her chocolate brown eyes. She held a smile that was full of life and hope and it brightened when she looked at those she loves.

The father was dressed in beige shorts and a loose jade green shirt. There was a vial of sand that seemed to have been collected by the man and was secured with some string allowing the man to hold it like a satchel. As he looked at the mother's brown eyes with his (e/c) eyes he couldn't help but smile at her beauty, his short cut black hair was also unaffected by the wind.

Their son was a combination of the two, short (h/c) hair with bright (e/c) eyes that were full of childlike innocence, he wore light green shorts and a loose white T shirt with a green logo representing earth. He was probably around the age of 8.

"Hopefully the tomatoes have ripened in the green house.", the mother pondered softly as they walked.

"I'm sure it'll be fine. Besides there's not a single thing you can't grow.", the father replied unable to hold back a large smile.

"I suppose so-", just as the mother spoke there was a sudden slam causing the parents to turn around and see three men dressed in black with a pair of gold goggles and green lenses.

The father was the first to react stepping in front of his family and uncorking the vial of sand at his side as a sign of warning to the intruders. This however didn't deter the group as they charged him holding steampunk themed swords.

Reacting quickly the father summoned the sand from the vial, solidifying them into spears and shields of earth before facing the attackers. One of them attempted to attack with an overhead slash but he was able to block it with the rectangular shield before morphing the face of it into a fist and forcing the attacker back. This had continued for some time before one of the members moved towards the mother and son which distracted the father for just enough time to be pierced by the sword as his body collapsed with a thud.

The mother tried to hold back her tears as she watched the group get closer to her and her son. This snapped her out of her daze and she slammed both of her hands on the ground as it began to glow a hot red and create a rippled effect pushing the enemies back and even pushing one of them off the roof to their eventual death. As one of them had gone this had put the remaining enemies on guard as they attempted to attack in a pincer like fashion.

The man on the left charged first, swiping his sword in a crescent slash, the mother was able to block it by stamping her foot on the ground as a pillar of lava blocked and melted the sword. The man on the right was too close so the mother used the lava from the pillar and turned it into a whip as it cracked through the air and forced the attacker back. Regrouping the two attackers tried a new strategy as they shot cables from their arms towards the mother but it was easily defended with a wave of her hand as the lava made contact, however, this also acted as the smoke screen forcing her to look around frantically.

Suddenly, she felt something pierce her back only catching sight of the melted sword embedded into her back as she collapsed facing her son. She spoke her final words to him.

"Y/n... no matter what happens. Please... survive...", she finished as her head hit the ground with a soft thud. The two men focused on the young boy but were startled as he suddenly screamed in anguish.
