what happens when starlette carter, a popular actress and model who gets casted on a new netflix series, and her love interest just so happens to be her ex?
rudy and star had been separated the past week, spending time with their family's separately. rudy was having crazy separation anxiety, texting star non stop wanting to see her.
she went to lunch with her sister who was visiting home that same week, catching up.
"so rudy huh. i haven't seen him since before you guys broke up the first time" lennon said
"yeah! i know! what's that like 3 or more years now isn't it?" star agreed
"so when do i get to see him?" she asked as she drove to their favourite home town cafe.
"should i invite him out for lunch with us? or do you wanna have girls day then he come around later?" she asked
"yeah no problem just call him now and i can pick him up?" lennon said.
star grabbed her phone, rudy answering straight away.
"hey baby, what's up." he said
"you wanna come out for lunch? i've got a surprise guest" she said
"is it momma amy?" he asked
"nope. you won't expect this one" she said
"oooh okay? i'm home now or do you want me to meet you there?" he asked
"no we'll come get you. we'll be there soon. love you"she said
"i love you, i'm kinda scared" he laughed before hanging up.
lennon drove to his house, parking out on the street waiting for him to come out.
"are you kidding! lennon! holy hell, i haven't seen you in like- years!" he said excitedly, her getting out to give him a hug before they both got back into the car.
"so how've you been?" rudy said making quick conversation as the cafe was only around the corner.
"good! i've moved to florida with my fiancé, and everything's good! nothings changed much with me" she shrugged
"what's your fiancés name? when can i meet him?" rudy laughed
"his names austin! we've been together for, 4 years" lennon said
"oh that's amazing. i'm so happy for you!" he said
they pulled up, taking an outside seat, got served and continued to catch up.
"so you two are living in together in LA, i hear?! that's exciting" lennon said.
"yeah, we are! hopefully everything works out well this time" rudy joked
"rudy, really?" star looked at him.
"in sorry. not funny. my bad." he said
"but other then that, i guess we'll just be working from LA, booking shows or movies or whatever comes our way, the both of us" rudy said
"i'm so proud of you guys! not only for getting back together but for how far you've both gotten! like when this show finally comes out, y'all are gonna be famous famous. i mean str already is, i kinda hates visiting her in LA when she first blew up" lennon laughed.
"so have you and austin planned much for the wedding? i hope i'm invited" rudy winked
"you'll be my plus one, dork. of course you'll be coming" star said to him.
"i really wanna meet him. i'm excited" rudy laughed
"he's coming up for the weekend, so if you guys aren't out by then, then you'll be able to" lennon smiled at him
