Chapter 18: Telling Alex and Anny

I was on my way to school that morning and as we were driving there was a loud bang and I was julted forward but not by much thanks to my seat belt

"What just happened?!" I looked around franticly and it didn't loot like anything happened suddenly my mom got out of the car and went to the back. Quickly I slid my backpack off and got out, when I got out I seen there was another car crashed into ours and my mom was talking to someone really how does this stuff happen and why is so much happening to me lately. I walked over to my mom to see what they were talking about

"- don't you know what you could have done!" My mom was shouting at a short woman that looked like she was in her 20s with short brown hair and she looked as if she was about yo punch my mother

"You know you your not the only one that could have gotten hurt to"

"I wasn't talking about me I was talking about my daughter" the lady suddenly caught sight of me but didn't change expressions at all

"I really do-" I left so I wouldn't hear what they were saying because I didn't want to get caught up in all of that so I sat back down in the car and waited for my mom to get back.

When she did get back she looked so mad

"Cassie you know your way home right?"

"Yes, do you want me to go home?"

"Yes and could you get your father"

"Ya" I had then got out of the car and sprinted back to home after about 5 minutes of sprinting stoping every now and then to catch my breath I opened the door I yelled out to my dad

"Dad we got in a crash and mom wants you down there!" My dad then came up from out of the livingroom

"Where?!"

"At Charles street" he then had broke off in a run and I went upstairs onto my bed. I sat down on my bed and then just waited for either of then to get home.

I had woken up not even knowing when I fell asleep, I got up and looked over at the clock 5:10 pm I knew I missed school and then got up and started for the door, I went down stairs and seen Alex Anny and John in the living room talking to my parents and when I walked in Alex seen me and came over to me then hugged me I had hugged him back then did the same with Anny but when John came over I had backed away from him remembering the following night. Alex and Anny looked confused at why I backed away from John but John just went over and sat on the couch

After about a minute of everyone being confused Anny finally spoke up "Is there something wrong Cassie?"

"Yes and its with John"

Alex looked over at us and Joined in "What's wrong with John?"

"I'll tell you upstairs" I walked up the stairs and into my room with Alex and Anny following. We all sat o the bed and I started telling them what happened

Anny started off "So what is wrong with John?"

"Yesterday after school he had come to my house and he tried to kiss me"

"Wait that's why your mad?"

"Yes and I don't want to have anything to do with him anymore!"

Alex had seemed to look like he didn't understand why I was mad but Anny could clearly tell why

"Well be right back Cassie were going to talk to John for a moment"

They then left the room and I laid down on my bed Why has so much happened to me lately its like im in some kind of story after about a few minutes I could tell there was yelling downstairs but I couldn't make out what they were sating. I sat up and was expexting someone to barge though the door but no one did. I got up and started walking to the door and when I got down stairs I had decided I needed a brake from everything, I went out the front door and sat down on the porch. I felt like I was at peace for ones after Jacobs death, everything started to disolve around me as a cool breeze hit my face, should I try to give John anothee chance, maybe I should? I went back inside to the living room I seen that Anny looked mad Alex and my parents seemed mostly confused though

"Anny calm down"

She had turned around and faced me "what? Calm down? But Joh... He-"

"Anny just calm down now okay, he made a mistake" she seemed furius at this point and then she went up the stairs to my room no doubt, after which I had waved for John and Alex to follow me.

I didn't sit down but John and Alex did,

"John I'm sorry that I acted that way I was mad about what hapoened and I was acting selfish"

"How were you acting selfish Cassie!" Everyone suddenly turned to Anny for yelling this out

"Because I was only thinking about myself and I only have ever since Jacob died"

Anny suddenly had a mood shift and she looked down at the ground, after a little bit of talking John and Anny left the room to get something to eat, leaving me and Alex alone

"Hey Alex"

"Hey"

"Cassie how come you just suddenly changed like that?" He had snapped his fingers well he said it

"Its not easy to explain I just I realized my mistake and I had then fixed it"

"Well how did you realize your mistake" I could tell he was just messing with me as he said this, then John and Anny came back in with some food handing Alex and me some of it then John tried to be funny

"So nothing happened well we where gone right?"

We all laughed at this but I could see Alex was blushing at the comment

"No John nothing happened"

"Better not have"

After a few hours they all had left and I webt to sleep thinling about the crash and how my mind changed so quickly.

I woke up the next morning and sat up I had got ready for school knowing I would have to walk and I left as soon as possible

"Bye mom I'm leaving for school now!"

I heard my mom and dad both replied at the same time "Have a good day Cassie!"

I walked down to the school and I seen Anny as I was walking I quickly caught up to her

"Hey Anny!"

"Wah... Oh hey Cassie"

"How you doing?"

"I'm doing good, how about you?" I could see that somerhing was worrying her and I had to ask her

"Anny what's wrong, I can tell my your dace that something is wrong"

"Its nothing Cassie dont worry"

"I hope its nothing Anny"

We hadn't talked the rest of the walk there but when we got there Alex was just being driped off "Hey Alex!"

He turned in our direction amd gave a sple Hey back to us we all entered the school amd sat down at the gym

"Welcome back Cassie"

"What?"

"School we haven't seen you hear in so long"

We all laughed and talked unti advisory startwd amd me and Alex didn't talk much in advisory so I just started doodling on my note book and started thinking, advisory ended soon after and when I swen my not book it had a picture of me and Alex in it I soon shut and so that Alex wouldn't see and walked out to first class. When did I draw that in my notebook and did anyone see it at all? The rest of the day thays all I could think about was the deawing in the note book, when I got home I looked at it and starywd having thoughts about it.
