Chapter 11 (Tris)

Tobias and I went up to the fields and met up with Caleb and Christina.

"Hey guys." Christina said

"Hey." we said

"So ready to get this day going." Tobias asked

"Yeah." we all said

We walked around the field until we settled in a little shady area under a tree. We set down the basket and got ready to eat.

"Remember Tris, you aren't suppose to be moving a lot. You got to take this slow alright." Caleb said

"Yes I know. Dont worry." I told him.

I leaned against Tobias while we ate to admire the view of the fields. The sky was clear and the sun was out and that made everything look so beautiful.

"Do you think we can escape like this at least once a week to have peace?" Christina asked

"Yeah once Tris had a nice long sleep the day before we go out then that can be arranged." Tobias said

I just rolled my eyes at him.

After a few minutes it was time to go so we packed our things and started walking back. I was starting to feel tired but I didn't want them to worry about me so I tried to keep pace. Tobias turned to look at me and noticed. He gave the basket to Caleb and then he turned towards me.

"You know there might not be a next time if you don't tell me that you are tired." He said

"I'm sorry. I didn't want to be a bother." I yawned

I leaned my head against Tobias,with my arms around his neck, and started to fall asleep.

"Go to sleep. You need to rest." I heard Tobias say before letting darkness engulf me.

A few hours later

I woke up and realized I was in Tobias's bedroom and he was nowhere to be found. I got up and went to check every room in the room but couldn't find him anywhere. Just when I sat down he entered the room with bags in his hands.

"Did you go to the store?" I asked

"What? Oh no Tris. I just went to the library and they gave me free food." He said sarcastically.

I just glared at him.

"Plus what are you doing up?"

"I woke up and you weren't there so I looked around for you and still couldn't find you and then you just came." I explained

"Oh sorry for worrying you then. I'll leave a note next time. Now come on if your so eager to do something then help me prepare lunch." He said going into the kitchen.

I followed him and we started repeating the food.

"What are we making?" I asked

"Spaghetti and meatballs." He said

"For how many?" I asked looking around the counter.

"Our friends. The are coming over and a few hours so we best get started." He replied.

I nodded and went back to boiling the water. We started doing things separately so we could finish faster and we did.

"Okay now that that's done we just need to wait. " Tobias said

I nodded and sat on the exhausted.

"Hey you did a great job." He. Told me

"Thanks I guess." I replied
