chapter 8 (Tobias)

I woke up with the sun in my eyes. I shielded my eyes with my arm. I looked to my left and saw Tris sleeping peacefully in my arm. I smiled. She looked so beautiful that I couldn't resist the urge to kiss her on the forehead. Her eyes fluttered open and when they adjusted on me she smiled.

"Hi. Good morning." she said

"Good morning beautiful. How'd you sleep?" I asked smiling at her.

She blushed when I called her beautiful.

"I slept wonderfully. How bout you handsome." She asked

"Well how can someone not sleep soundly with a beautiful girl right beside them." I said and made her blush harder and she looked cute.

I chuckled.

"What?" She asked

"What what?" I asked

"What were you laughing about?" She asked

"I was laughing because I can make you blush so easily and its cute." I said

"Cute? Really? You are unbelievable you know that right?" She asked

"Maybe." I said

She just laughed.  Just then Matthew came in.

"Ah good. You're awake. So I will do some tests right now and see if you're free to leave and rest." He said

"Alright. Lets get this over with." i said.

He checked my blood pressure and checked my lungs and heartbeat and all the rest.  After he finished checking me he left and said he will be right back. It was me and Tobias again.

"What do you think?" Tris asked

"What do i think of what?" i asked confused

"What do you  think i got. How my test results were?" she said

"i dont know. Im not a doctor you know. Im not erudite, im dauntless." i said jokingly

She laughed and pushed me playfully.

I just hugged her. We were leaning on each other for a few minutes until Matthew came in.

"Okay Tris your blood is good and your wound is healing at a steady pace so you can leave but you have to rest or it won't get better. If you have any questions or problems just give me a call."
Matthew explain

"Yes!" Tris exclaimed

We started laughing at that.

"Okay I will get a wheelchair so you can leave. I say a week give or take. Be right back." Matthew said and then he left.

"Well congratulation you have officially moved from a hospital bed to my bed." I teased

"Oh shut up. At least I will be in the same room as you and you won't have to go anywhere just to see me." She said

"Your right. As always." I said and leaned in to kiss her.

We parted when Matthew came in with the wheelchair.

"Okay here you go now in you go and out you go." He said

"I'll miss you to Matthew. " Tris said

"No you won't." He said

"Whatever Matthew. Thanks for helping." She said

I got her settled into the wheelchair and started heading out.

"Bye Matthew." We said.

"Bye guys." He said

We went down the hallway and went  to the apartment.

"Ugh finally." Tris said

I laughed and picked her up. I carried her towards the bed and put her there.

"So what do you want to eat?"

"I just want a sandwich." she said 

"You sure?" I asked her

"Yes and can you hurry." she pleaded 

i laughed at her and started making the sandwich and gave it to her.

"So what do you want to do?" i asked her

"can we watch movies since i need to stay in bed." Tris asked

"Yeah sure i'll get the movies. be right back." i said and went to look for some movies.
