"This may be a special night, but...lets not let the public find out!" A scout said talking about "Behave like soldiers without causing a ruckus!"
"Meat...?" Y/n said looking a bit worried
Mikasa was just staring at his reaction, she was about to tap his shoulder but someone spoke
"Tonight's the night before Wall Maria!" Said a man with an apron on "Cheers-" Everyone started to rampage to get a bit of meat before it's gone
-Y/n's Pov-
"I knew this was going to happen" I said talking to no one until I felt someone tap my shoulder
I turned around was surprised Mikasa approached me. It's been a while
"Oh hey Mikasa, it's been a while" I said scratching the back of my neck
"How are you?" She said in the same monotone voice but with a bit of worry "I've had better days"
She looked down and I thought I saw her cheeks dusted with pink, "I wanted to-" she got cut off when we heard Jean yell at Sasha for shoving meat in her mouth.
I looked behind Mikasa and she looked behind as well we both looked back at each other and we started making our way to them
Very bad idea for someone who can't stop eating
We made it to their table and all we saw was Sasha biting Jean's hand
"Well this is going great"
After that she punched Marlo in the face making him bleed
Mikasa spoke up after "Connie would you knock Sasha out already?"
"Yeah this is getting out of hand here" I added. Sasha went for another punch and managed to punch Mikasa. My eyes widened she didn't even flinch
"I'm trying!" Connie yelled
At last Sasha ran out of energy at was now tied up to a wooden post.
We all sat in piece then Marlo spoke
"Isn't the vanguard the best place to learn how the moves?"
"What's this? Trying to act all tough talking about self-sacrifice?" Jean question sarcastically
"But if we're all not of that mentality how will we be effective as a unit?"
"Listen here... Everyone starts out as a recruit. If we throw recruits like cannon fodder, they'll be to dead to learn. Which is why its your job to sit in the back and study, so you can come in one piece."
Y/n's Thoughts: Never knew he can say wise words, very impressive that a horse can do so
He the turned towards us and spoke
"But the most useless of all is the suicidal maniac and his partner in crime, the psycho bastard who only know how to charge in. Right?" Leaning towards us with that one horse face he does to piss anyone off
Eren placed his cup down and played dumb while I just kept eating
"Jean... Who do you mean by that? And who's the psycho bastard?"
"Who else but you two?"
"Actually, I found something out recently. I'm quite a normal person, you know? So if you're saying that to me, that just makes you a coward, Jean"
