"The city causes traffic and this has been an issue for more than five decades... but there is never a solution to it and nobody has been able to get rid of the traffic issue in the city. Any thoughts about this?" the professor called for Sicheng. "Mr. Dong?"

"Architect, we all know this city is car-centric, which causes heavy traffic everywhere." Sicheng started.

"But there are skyways and trains that helps reduces major road traffic." sabi ng professor.

This question is challenging for some people, but for Sicheng he answered the question as if it was just a piece of cake.

"Skyways and trains did not reduce vehicular traffics at all, since private vehicles are everywhere. Traffic congestion can be stopped by carpooling and the use of public transportation, instead of using a private car."

Everybody was in awe with his answer, and I was even surprised at how genius Sicheng is. Indeed he is not just a pretty face. Him being a genius is a major turn on. Though, I have the same thoughts as him, may point yung sinasabi niya. He really is intelligent.

"Thank you Mr. Dong. You can take your seat." the professor says at nagpatuloy na sa pagdidiscuss.

Once the class has ended, I decided to fix my things and folded my blazer. I took it off dahil mainit sa room.

"Aiya, we're going ahead." paalam ni ate Nari sakin.

"Oh sure ate. Mag ingat kayo kuya Li." tumango ako sa kanila.

"Mag-ingat ka din Aiya. We'll see you on Saturday." sabi ni kuya Li.

Then they left. I already carried my laptop bag and my blazers with me when Sicheng decided to approach me. Hindi pa pala siya lumabas.

"You're heading home?" he asked.

"Not yet. May bibilhin pa ako sa bookstore." sabi ko.

Sabay kaming lumabas ng room. I was supposed to approach him first pero naunahan niya ako.

"Alright, sasamahan kita." aniya.

"Hindi ka magco-commute ngayon?" sabi ko.

"I got my car washed nung Monday kaya kita nasabayan magcommute. Kakakuha ko lang nung car kahapon." paliwanag niya. I nodded slowly.

"Oh okay... but, you know... uh never mind." how can I tell him that I can't trust him for now? I just remember what dad told me.

"I know what you're thinking... Aiya I swear... I'm not that kind of person." as if reading my mind, Sicheng replied.

"And how can I trust you? N-no offense..." I stopped once I realized na may mali akong sinabi. "Gosh I didn't meant it that way. I'm so sorry..."

Instead of being offended Sicheng smiled. "It's fine. I can't blame you. You know it's getting late now, delikado para sayo ang umuwi ng ganitong oras na."

Sicheng is right, it's getting late at night. 8: 30 ang dismissal namin at sobrang gabi na din.

"Thank you but... we just met so... I don't know."

"Trust me. I won't do harm. If wala kang tiwala sakin you can call anyone for help, the guards are everywhere in the city 24/7. Don't worry, this place is safe." paliwanag niya.

"O-okay?" I nodded unsurely.

He was right, there were guards everywhere kaya pala this place is considered a safe city.

"Tara na, samahan kita sa bookstore."

"Mhmm..." I followed him walking hanggang sa makarating kami sa pinakamalapit na bookstore dito.
