Today is Saturday, and so far wala din namang pasok at wala din akong gagawin, so I decided to go with Sicheng. He invited me to go somewhere na di ko pa daw napupuntahan. He checked places where I wanted to go when I showed him my bucket list, so he's willing to take me there ng paisa-isa.

I already am dressed up, hinihintay ko na lang si Sicheng. He insist na susunduin niya ako, though I really don't want to bother him. Masyado siyang mapilit na susunduin ako, kahit puwede naman kaming magkita doon sa lugar na mismo.

Inaayos ko na yung laman ng bag ko, but right after I received a call from Sicheng himself.

"Hello?"

[Hey... Good morning.] he greeted. He seems to be in a good mood today.

I giggled. "Good morning to you too."

[Di pa pala ako nakaalis, but wait for me there okay? I'm going to fetch you like I promised.] he informed me.

"Okay, hihintayin kita." I laughed.

[Good! I'm about to leave now.]

"Take care Sicheng.''

I did a quick retouch of my makeup and fixed my hair a little. Matatagalan pa si Sicheng so I might as well do something first. Oh, I'll call mom. It's a perfect timing na sumagot din siya.

"Mom. Hi." I giggled.

[Hey you seemed to be so happy huh? Aiya?] mom laughed, seeing my enthusiasm this time.

"I can't wait to go. Hinihintay ko kasi si Sicheng, he says he'll fetch me daw."

[Whoa, he's a total gentleman huh? Lagi kang hatid-sundo ni Sicheng ah.] sabi ni mom.

"Well he insists for it. I just couldn't say no." umiling ako.

[Is there something going on between you guys?] nanlaki ang mata ko dahil sa tanong ni mom. I did not expect this nor am I ready for this.

"What?! Mom no! Of course not." I scoffed.

[Aiya, lately he's been the words of your mouth. Every time na tumawag ka, you never forget to mention Sicheng or talk about him, or share your moments.] so mom has been observing me all along.

Yes, it is true that I always mention Sicheng whenever we talk through calls, I didn't forget to mention Sicheng all the time and the things we did when we were hanging out.

[Aiya, this is so new to me. Seeing you all smiley and happy while you're with someone, it's actually different. Hindi ka makuwento tungkol sa mga kaibigan mo before, you never shared your happy experience like you used to... but now you're telling everything to me like I'm your diary.] mom says.

I just realized how right mom is. I never open up about me and my other friends hanging out before, unlike with Sicheng. To be more honest, I'm happier when I'm with him, I'm more comfortable and I feel safe.

"I know mom... iba kasi kapag ka age mo yung kasama mo sa class, unlike before. Right? You know it." I explained.

[I don't think that's the only reason to that dear. You probably developed something with Sicheng, you must have liked him by now.] I gasped.

"What? Mom, no way. He's my best friend." Depensa ko.

[Dear you're blushing.] mom laughed at my retort. Maging sa video call kita niya yung pamumula ko. [There's nothing wrong with that, I mean, it might be just a crush.]
