"Sicheng matutunaw na si Aya niyan." kanina pa napansin ni Shenlin na titig na titig si Sicheng kina Aiya at Yani na nagtatawanan.

"Oh... Sorry, what is it ate?" nabalik sa ulirat si Sicheng dahil sa pagsalita ng kapatid niya.

Shenlin claps her hand two times. "I was right..."

Meixi looked at Sicheng. Maging si Xuanli ay napansin din ang pagtitig ni Sicheng kay Aiya. "You've been staring at Aiya the whole time Sicheng."

"It was nothing mom. I'm just happy for Yani... As an introvert, it's unexpected na ang bilis kasi niya makasundo si Aya." palusot ni Sicheng.

"You're right... I never thought Yani would be as hyper as that with someone na kakilala niya lang." Xuanli agreed to his son.

"Aya is a sweet person, no wonder why she easily soften Yani's heart." Sicheng smiled.

"Si Yani lang ba? Hmmm?" Meixi teases her son.

"I don't think so." tumawa si Xuanli.

"May isa pa eh. Ayaw lang aminin." dagdag pa ni Shenlin.

Napapansin ng tatlo ang kanina pang pagtitig ni Sicheng kay Aiya, at ang palihim nitong pag ngiti.

"Guys are what are you talking about?" Sicheng frowns.

"You know what exactly we're talking about, son." Meixi gave a hint of a playful smile.

"I don't get it." napailing na lang si Sicheng dahil naguguluhan na siya.

"You like Aiya..." diretsong sagot ni Xuanli.

"What? Dad no, that's not how it goes." Sicheng lied. Though he couldn't deny how right his dad is.

"You can't deny it, son. The way you look at Aiya is different." kanina pa siya inoobserbahan ni Xuanli.

"And note that this is the first time you ever bought a friend na babae, dati puro male friends mo lang." Meixi added.

"Mom Aiya is my best friend."

"Na babae..." dugtong ni Meixi doon sa paliwanag ni Sicheng. "Son, you don't bring your female friends here or introduce them to us formally."

It is true na wala pa siyang dinalang kaibigang babae dito, si Aiya pa lang. That made Meixi and Shenlin mistook Aiya as Sicheng's girlfriend.

"Mom, the only reason why I took Aiya here kasi wala siyang kasama for the long weekend." Sicheng explains.

"Sicheng, you're just in denial. I don't think you only see Aiya as a friend." Xuanli shook his head, not satisfied with his son's explanation. "I can see the way you look at her, it's how I look at your mom when I was in love at first sight with her."

"Dad it's different. I only see Aiya as a younger sister." Sicheng defended.

"Gosh! Ewan ko sayo Sicheng. Ang torpe mo." napairap na lang si Shenlin dahil sa pagiging in denial ng kapatid niya.

"No I swear it's not something you guys assume okay?"

"Dyan ako nagsisimula ang lahat, son. Well it's okay if you can't admit it now. But thank me later kasi magkakaroon ka din ng realization." Xuanli gave his son a pat on his shoulder.

"Dad..." Sicheng whines like a kid. "You guys are teaming up on me again."

"Gusto mo si Aiya ayaw mo lang aminin." Meixi told his son.
