As the ice began to melt, Atlas opened his eyes.
The once warm brown was replaced by a deep crimson.
Magic fell from his fingertips, capable of unthinkable destruction.
For millennia, the cold creature searched for the missing part of his frozen hea...
Andromeda (now commonly knows as Andy) and Atlas had stayed together for over 8000 years. Atlas was extremely grateful for his friend, she helped him understand and control his powers and come to terms with being a vampire. One night whilst the two were hunting Atlas froze, "what?", Andy turned to him.
"We're being watched", his head snaps to an overhanging ledge above them, "there", the two ancient vampires run to the stalker, Andy lands informant of them smirking, Atlas holds his hands out, his red powers wrapping around the blonde vampire.
"Who are you?" Andy steps forwards, when the man stayed quiet she gave Atlas a nod, the boys red eyes glowed brighter as he tightened his magic around the cloaked man who groaned, "he will continue to tighten his hold around you until your body shatters... so speak"
After another loud groan, another voice answers, "his name is Caius", Atlas and Andy turn to see two men walk forwards, "we would greatly appreciate if you would release our friend", Andy nodded at Atlas, who released Caius, who snarled and joined the other two.
The oldest vampire looked at the three, "who are you supposed to be?"
The front man smiled widely, "I am Aro", he points to the large man, "this is Marcus", and then he points to the blonde, "and of course, you've already met Caius", Andy and Atlas share a look, the boy speaking.
"That doesn't answer our question", Aro turns to him, and his smile widen- if possible.
"We are the Volturi, the rulers of the Vampire world", the two older vampires share a laugh, "and we are looking to create a guard, full of powerful vampires", Andy becomes alarmed at this, looking at Atlas to see his reaction.
The teen shakes his head, "I don't want to join your 'guard'", Caius steps forwards.
"It wasn't a request, boy"
Atlas also steps forwards, only stoped by Andy's arm, the woman looks at the three 'kings', "we have survived together for a long time without kings. we didn't need you then. we don't need you now"
Caius doesn't back down, glaring at Atlas, "if you don't come quietly, we will kill your keeper and take you for ourselves", at the threat, Atlas moves his hands out, his power forming in his hands. The Volturi watch entranced.

"Don't ever threaten us, Again", he throws a blast forwards, sending Caius back, flying off the cliff. Andy runs at Marcus kicking him back off the cliff as Aro goes to run Atlas stops him with his powers, Andy walks to him, slowly. Tauntingly.
"Don't try to follow us, or we'll kill you", she taps his cheek with a smile and then runs with Atlas, the two going straight to the ocean and jumping in.
