I was currently in Saks fifth shopping for birthday gifts for duke. It was almost a week after our movie night and I can say I was happy.
Me and him had many deep conversations and had been spending everyday with each other since then.
I can definitely say I grew attached to him, in only a short matter of time. I was more open and less shy or atleast I tried to be.
I was debating on what to actually get him, I've recently found out that he's actually 27. Which made us have an 8 year gap from one another.
But I don't care honestly, love doesn't have an age on it and as long as I'm willingly with him and vice versa we should be good.
What I do know is that I'm never telling my parents his age and in fact never telling them about him period.
When duke found out my age he almost stop talking to me but I assured him that I'm mature for a 19 year old and that age ain't nothing but a number.
He debated for a minutes and thought about it leaving me in fear of losing him but he told me we'll try it out and sees where it leads us... whatever that means?
"excuse me miss, need any assistance?" The white feminist male approached me as I observed the many designer hoodies.
"um no I'm good—thanks for the offer" i smiled continuing to shop as he still stood there, weird.
"umm im not sure what you're looking for but the lower pricing things are over there" he pointed "just a suggestion to fit" he made a gesture towards me "might be more you?" he smiled making me mug.
"are you indicating that I'm broke or persay that I can't afford anything in here because of my color" I spat.
"oh no no mama definitely not it's just that— Y-you know what never mind forget that I even said anything"
"oh no I'm not gonna forget better yet where's your boss?" I scrunched my face up, irritated at the whole situation.
It's always times where this happens, I know I'm very wealthy but I don't dress it most times which leads to situations like this.
"um isn't present at the moment but I can assure you I'm very sorry for indicating anything to begin with.. matter fact I'll give you a discount ms"
"mhm you do that and I'll be sure to inform your boss, matter facts Mr. Welch right?"
"my bosses name? correct"
"he's a family friend and I'll make sure my parents the Crawford's give him a call on my behalf"i smiled watching his face go in shock.
My parents were a pain in the ass but their names held a lot of weight especially in bougie places like this, my parents had many connections and friends as you know and are rich.
