TUMIGIL ang sasakyan namin sa hindi ko kilalang lugar... Basta ang alam ko ay malayo ito sa kabihasnan.

Pinagbuksan nya ako ng pinto at inalalayan bumaba.

"Nasaan tayo?" tanong ko sa kanya habang inililibot ang paningin sa isang liblib na lugar... halos puro puno lang din. Anong meron at bakit parang gusto nilang magpinsan ang mga liblib na lugar at maraming puno?

"Relax, Star. I'm just behind you," I relax my tensed body. I can't see anything dahil sa blindfold.

"Can I take this off?" I said referring to the scarf.

"Not yet... Ako ang magtatanggal nyan," he said and I nodded.

Nanatili akong nakatayo at pilit pinapakiramdaman ang ginagawa nya.

"Mahal..." I said almost whispering.

Medyo nagtaka ako kasi may mabango akong naamoy. It's a flower scent... Lavender to be exact.

"Just a little bit aaaaand... Okay, I'll remove this now," kinalas nya ang pagkakatali ng scarf sa ulo ko. I open my eyes and blink many times to adjust my eyesight.

''Ethan...'' I look at him.

''I want to give everything to you... This may not be the most romantic surprise in the world but I am proud because I put 101% of my effort into making this.''

He took two steps forward and hand me the bouquet of peonies. I reach for it and smell it...
