Chapter 29

WE will celebrate the New Year together... Just the two of us, in Iceland. We are currently ice skating while the Northern Lights are dancing above us.

"Wait... I can't balance," I said while laughing as I tightens my grip on his arms.

"Don't worry... I'm here. Hindi kita bibitawan. Just relax your legs," he said. I try to relax my legs. I moved like pro skaters do but I always end up losing my balance. Good thing Ethan was there supporting me. After an hour of tutoring, I finally got the proper movement.

That's why here we are, laughing and teasing as we both skate on the ice.

When we get tired we headed to the nearest coffee shop to buy some coffee. I mean to buy a coffee for Ethan since I saw the Orange smoothie.

I heard Ethan chuckle so I look up at him. "Why?"

"Really? You're drinking smoothies in winter? Are you even aware that it's currently negative two degrees Celsius here?" I pouted at what he said.

"But I want a smoothie," I said. I show him my puppy eyes that I know he can't resist.

He just shake his head meaning he surrendered. Alam kong di nya ko matitiis.

Bumalik na kami sa hotel na tinutuluyan namin. Ethan turn the heater on while I took off my coat... I also help Ethan remove his coat since the coat is kinda heavy because it's very thick.

"Are you hungry?" he asks.

"Yeah," he messes my hair before heading to the mini kitchen to cook. He actually paid for the presidential suite because of the kitchen.

"Love... Shower lang ako."

"Okay... I love you," I smiled at his answer.

"I love you too," I said before entering the bathroom. Hinubad ko lahat ng damit ko bago ilagay sa warm temperature ang tubig. I waited for five to ten minutes before cleaning myself.

Paglabas ko nakita kong nag aayos na si Ethan ng lamesa kaya pumunta ako kaagad sa kanya para tulungan sya. Pero gaya ng lagi nya ginagawa...

"Star... Sit, let me serve you," umiling ako kaya wala na syang nagawa ng tulungan ko sya. Sometimes I get annoyed when he's like that.

Ang sweet ng ginagawa nya. Na pinaglilingkuran ako, ayaw nya ko mapagod... But sometimes I felt bad about myself kasi feeling ko nawawalan ako ng silbi. I'll talk to him about it later...

He cooked our favorite chicken curry. Actually we've been here for four days. December 26 nung umalis kami sa Pilipinas. Bukas pa ang celebration ng New Year dito. Mag istay muna kami ng two days after new year bago umuwi.

I put some food on his plate. He just smiles while watching me do it. Madami kaming napag kwentuhan habang kumakain kaya halos hindi na namin namalayan ang oras.

Naka sandal ako sa headrest habang nasa lap ko ang laptop ko. I'm reading Princess Diary E-book. Ethan's currently taking a shower kaya inaabala ko ang sarili ko.

My phone beeped and I saw my mom's message.

From: Mom

It's already New Year's eve here. Happy new year to both of you. Enjoy your time together there... We love you both.

Masaya talaga sa pakiramdam pag tanggap ng family nyo ang relationship nyo. Nireplayan ko si mom, nag chat na din ako sa GC para bumati bago bumalik sa pagbabasa.
