(A) and (B) were together, they just didn't want anyone to know about it ((B) can be either apart of the same alliance or a different one, your choice.)
Most of (Alliance) were there around the target but, (A) and (C) were specifically told to act as a couple throughout the adventure..which, okay, set (B) off a bit but, they were fine. Throughout the night though, they got progressively more jealous of the 'happy couple' due to (C) seemingly trying to get with (A).
Long story short, (A) tries to confront them the next time they met up and things go south, bringing one person after the other int9 the room and soon, everyone knows the pair are dating.
